ok, thanks Annie!

I can see the weekend migration
from Cal...

Is that called a vacation or
staycation or something else?

I thought there might be some convention
or something bringing the price slightly higher
than what was priced on other weekends.

Ya know, it almost seems like you're daring me to use a certain term which residents of a particular western state dislike very much. :)

Hi. For those considering the Imperial Palace, the Friday rate has dropped a few dollars (to $85).

If you haven't made your reservations yet and can stay off the strip you may want to consider Tuscany. Valentine Day (February 14) only a suite can be reserved for $32 a night for DLV week. There is a $13 pre night 'resort' fee added to that, so $45 a night for a large room with fridge, microwave, bed and sofa bed. This is more of a motel style arrangement and I've stayed there in the past with no problems. There is no need to walk through the casino to get to your car.

Just booked at the Signature at MGM Grand for $79 a night. I'll only be at DLV for two days.
