Just a quick comment for future DLV shoppers.

Never having been out for a daytime excursion I was not quite sure how
to dress for the Shopping trip so I decided on Skirt and blouse with a
pendant which worked out well as the others were dressed similar.

"Whew chose the right stuff to wear". I wonder if women go through this
too? All the girls looked great and there were no unapropriately
dressed people there, Except for one fool who couldn't take the "pre DLV
ORG advice" and wear comfortable walking shoes. (My feet are still
telling me how wrong I was!) We were just like a group of women out
for a sunny afternoons shopping and had no incidents nor lewd comments
to contend with. I would like to recomend it for future DLV'ers as a
way to spend a relaxing afternoon away from the hectic rush we so often
get into when in Vegas.

For those interested Primm Valley was quiet at 11am and although it is
far from being a Discount Mall it was a nice experience as you will see
from the pics taken in the parking lot afterwards when they show up on
the albums.

I do hope the Shoppers enjoyed the scenic detour we took of the highways
and byways of Nevada on route to Primm. Lake Mead can be very
picturesque this time of the year I think. Just be thankfull I still
don't drive on the wrong side of the road! Had a great time and made
some terrific new friends.

Hope to see you all again next year.

Hugs Kate.

Ask Tony about shopping for shoes with me. ;)

That was my lesson from last year (or was it two years ago?) This
year's lesson was to drink lots of water.

Looking forward to returning from next year's DLV without any serious
injuries. ;)

Kate,

IMO, I think your mode of dress, amongst all of us that went to the
Primm Valley Mall was quite appropriate. Girl, if you want to wear
heels to the mall, three words, practice, practice and practice. You'll
never see me in a pair of flats for I've been wearing heels for years
now. A girl gets used to how to walk in heels in a mall, esp. those
that have waxed wooden flooring (e.g., parts of the Primm Mall and esp.
at the Opry Mills Mall in Nashville).

You did a great job in organizing this activity and I hope you plan on
being with us for the DLV'04 ORGgroup.

While we did take a bit of a detour getting to Primm Valley, you'll know
better next year. Just remember when driving, the steering wheel
follows the white shoulder line, no matter what country you are driving
in! LOL :) (I know, for I've driven in the UK too many times in
previous professional lives).

I so look forward to seeing you back at DLV'04 next year!

Huggs,
Monique
