Killian's Angels @ Brendans at the Orleans

Killian's Angels is an all female rock band. One of the best and hardest
working bands in Las Vegas, will be appearing at Brendans Friday, August
20 & Sat. August 21 at 9pm.

I will be there at 8:30 to get a good table. The Angels and Brendans are
TG friendly, so if you want to show up en femme, it's all good.

A note to Jo Ann. You might want to put Brendan's on the list of places
to go.

If you mean the Big List we have at:

http://www.geekbabe.com/dlv/vendors/

It's not JoAnn's job to update it. It's everyone's job, including
yours! :) :)

I guess i didn't mention that the Angel's following is somewhat LBGT &
we (DLV) have had meals at McMullans before, with no issues.

I saw them last night and they are better than ever.

Magic's A Drag at Krave - anyone seen it?

Postby External Poster » Sun Aug 29, 2010 8:38 pm

Has anyone seen a show at the Harmon Theater
at Krave called "Magic's A Drag"? It has a female
impersonator name Cashetta, The Queen of Magic.

I was looking in the DLV disc archives but I
wasn't able to find anything related in the subject
search, nor anything mentioned in the 2010 comments,
nor as a suggestion as a DLV activity about this
show at Krave.

I could have also missed seeing any posting
about this show or any reviews by the DLV
community. So I thought I would ask. Sorry if this
topic has already been discussed.

Based on the description, I think... this show
may have been in other shows in the distant past.
One may have been at the Sahara (can't remember
the name of the show but it had music and
dancing) and/or at the old San Remo, that was
called the "Showgirls of Magic" or even part
of the old Frank Marino's show, all were shows
that DLV attended.

IF this is the same show person, has it changed, or
if its totally different, how is the show seeing that
she has her own show?

We had a group go to this in 2009. There are some photos of
some of our people with the cast in the 2009 follow-up pages.

It rated 4.36 for enjoyment and 4.60 for comfort on the 2009
survey. Notes say that 18 attended.

From what I understand, Magic's A Drag is a fresh show. It
may incorporate some variety acts which have appeared in
other shows, but I'm not sure.

Showgirls Of Magic was a David Saxe show and was retired
when the San Remo closed. Some if the acts were/are used
in the various David Saxe shows at Planet Hollywood.

Steve "Tiny Bubbles" Daly was picked up for the short-lived
Buck Wild show at the Sahara. We had a group go to this in
2006, but the turnout was spoiled by a time crunch at the
dinner immediately prior.

We had a group go to the new Frank Marino "Divas" show in
2010 at the Imperial palace. This was rated 4.80 on the
enjoyment scale and 4.68 for comfort. We had over 30 in
attendance.

Hi Annie

Thank you for the update! I thought
our group did go to that show, I just
couldn't find the info or what year or
when DLV went to it.

Kumiko
