VEGAS for Halloween 2014?

Postby kandi.dolfen » Wed Jul 16, 2014 5:30 pm

Keep the fun going after Pinkfest (October 8 - 12, 2014, Chicago, IL)
http://geekbabe.com/pinkfest/expect/
by going to Vegas for Halloween 2014 (tentative Oct. 28-31, 2014)
Halloween, October 31 falls on a Friday night this year. Here are some ideas for you to consider;
- Dinner at Bahama Breeze and Golden Nugget
- MU sessions @ Bare Minerals
- Vegas Halloween parade downtown Fremont Street http://www.thelasvegashalloweenparade.com/
- Fetish and Fantasy Halloween Ball 2014 http://www.halloweenball.com/
- Vegas Haunted House Crawl http://www.vegashauntedhouses.com/
Many DLV vendors in Vegas will support us.
Let's see how many are interested in going. With just 3 months to go, hotel rates are better sooner than later.
Please let me know if you are thinking about it.

I'm in and here for Halloween! If your thinking of being in the parade, plan on 4 hours of line up and getting to the end.The parade it self goes on slowly for more than 2 hours and get there 2 hours before to get a good viewing spot.

I am making plans to be in Vegas for Halloween. I think everything should work out. Hopefully others are going to make it as well.

Celebrating Halloween in Vegas?

Postby kandi.dolfen » Thu Oct 09, 2014 10:01 pm

Are you interested in celebrating Halloween in Vegas? Here's a tentative schedule. Please reply with your comments to: webmiss@2bshapely.com
Hope you can join the fun!
Thanks,
Dionne Piper

Divas-O-Ween - October 29, 30 & 31; 2014
Halloween 2014, October 31 falls on a Friday night.
D-O-W is very informal, casual fun gathering of DLV friends. There's no formal registration procedure and no charge to register or attend. You spend what you want on other things such as meals, lodging, entertainment and incidentals. If you're interested in attending, you "register" by sending a brief note (feedback encouraged) to: Dionne: webmiss@2bshapely.com

Hotels - Where are we staying?
There's no one hotel or place we are staying. So, book yourself a room that's suits you.
Fremont Street hotels would be convenient, as a suggestion.

Schedule (Preliminary)
Here's the schedule of where to meet up anywhere along the way;

Wednesday Happy Hour (5 pm) & Dinner (6 pm)
Bahama Breeze, 375 Hughes Center Drive, Las Vegas, NV 89109
702-731-3252
This is a casual restaurant so dress, appropriately. No costumes, clubwear, slutty/fetish outfits and No face masks, please.

After Dinner? (open to ideas)

Thursday afternoon
Sin City Art Gallery @ 3pm
sincitygallery.com
107 E. Charleston Blvd., #100
Las Vegas, Nevada 89104
702.608.2461
Gallery Hours: Wednesday thru Saturday 1:00 pm - 7:00 pm
Located on the corner of Art Way and Charleston Boulevard,
inside the The Arts Factory in the Downtown Arts District.
http://sincitygallery.com/Current_Exhibition.html
This is a small gallery located at 107 E. Charleston Blvd., #100
It holds just 20 visitors at a time and there is no admission fee.
We plan to walk the Arts Factory and pick a place for Dinner.

Thursday night 8 pm- 10 pm
Erotic Heritage Museum
The Erotic Heritage Museum is a 24,000 square feet area with 17,000 square feet dedicated to displays on the history of erotica.
Address: 3275 S Industrial Rd, Las Vegas, NV 89109
Hours: Open today · 11:00 am – 10:00 pm
Phone: (702) 794-4000
Since this is a warm-up before Halloween, attire is open to your discretion, costume or formal. The EHM is open to the general public that night so we will not have exclusive access.

Friday Dinner
Golden Nugget 4 pm Happy Hour, 5 pm Dinner
The Grotto Ristorante at The Golden Nugget
Address: 129 Fremont St, Las Vegas, NV 89101
Phone: (702) 385-7111
http://goldennugget.com/lasvegas/
Dress in costume to start the evening off at 4:00 with some libations of specialty cocktails at the ultra-chic Ice Bar on the main floor before moving to The Grotto Ristorante for fine Italian and American dining at 5:00. It’s sure to be a ‘golden’ evening so plan to join us.
What do they have to eat? Check out the dinner menu here:
http://www.goldennugget.com/lasvegas/pd ... dinner.pdf
Grotto website: http://www.goldennugget.com/lasvegas/eat_grotto.asp
Ice Bar website: http://www.goldennugget.com/lasvegas/drink_icebar.asp
suggest using the valet parking and walk to the restaurant down the hallway
Come out, meet up there in costume and join the fun!

Then make your choice for Friday night fun!
- Vegas Halloween parade downtown Fremont Street http://www.thelasvegashalloweenparade.com/
Parade begins at 7 pm down Fremont Street. Come As You Aren’t!
The 5th Annual Las Vegas Halloween Parade begins on 13th street of the historic Fremont Street East . On Halloween Night, Friday, Oct. 31, all costumed characters are welcome to join in the parade for free! Line up on East Fremont and 13th Street beginning at 4 p.m. The parade begins promptly at 7 p.m., the parade route marches, squishes and scurries West on Fremont Street East, under the open sky, to the free after-event location with dancing (some more scary than others), food and wacky celebrations.

Optional activity - Fetish and Fantasy Halloween Ball 2014
