Hi again Valorie,

Are you getting karaoke tracks for anyone who wants to actually sing? I would like to do my version of "Sharp Dressed Man" and possibly "Johnny B. Goode."

Also as I offered before when we were looking at the possibility of the LGBT Center, I could bring my laptop with my DJ software and plug into their system if they would be okay with that. Let me know.

Sorry for the delay, Dr Victoria just got married!!

Now that I think the honeymoon is over, I will find out about the club sound-system. I will probably take you (Nicole and Vera) up on your offer to DJ. Hopefully there isn't a cat-fight between you as to who controls the records . We will at least need to play the songs for the lip-sync, then their will also be the professional dancers, and general dance music for the evening. I think a karaoke machine would be handy, though you definitely get bonus points if you know all the words by heart.

Nicole you can DJ. There is a possibility that Dennis won't be coming
with me. Maybe. It all depends on how his surgery is on Thursday. He has
to have some cancer cut out of his forearm. Crossing my fingers he can
go. But if he does he won't be in any shape to help with the DJ. so I'll
just go ahead and perform my lip-sync number.

I hope all goes well and he can make it. As far as DJing, I am coming from VA so I certainly won't be bringing any equipment, just my laptop with my software and music collection. We'll have to see what Valorie finds out about the club. They may not be too amenable to an outsider plugging into their system. There may be some union concerns too in NV. And I imagine the professional dancers have their own music. I am willing to do whatever I can and do have a good assortment of music. Are you two mobile DJs? Where are you located. I'd like to talk shop and compare some experiences with you while we are at DLV.

Let me know what you find out and also any songs that people are requesting for lip-syncing or karaoke tracks, etc. Also, what types of costumes are you and your wife and others wearing that you know of so far?

Ok I heard back from Dr Victoria,

1. The club has their own house DJ who will be running the music for the evening. I thin this will actually make things easier. I will give him the set of songs for the show - either the full songs or acoustic karaoke versions. Nicole will you know all the words or will you need a screen prompt?

2. So far it looks like we have Vivian, Nicole, Rachel, Vera, and me performing. Any one else interested? Do any members of the Wonderland Express want to make an appearance?

3. The "kings of hustler" club is behind the main hustler complex. It used to be the main hustler club before their recent expansion. This is why it has its own private entrance. To find the entrance, go down the access road by the main club, it isthe last driveway on your left.

I kind of thought that would be the case. Oh well, I just hope they don't play techno crap all night.

I won't need words as I have performed these songs many times before.

Any word yet on what people are leaning towards as far as costumes?
