Studiolites.com does not list the Las Vegas location. Just tried to call Cris at the las Vegas number, disconnected.

Some one should swing by the store located at 4000 W Sahara to confirm.

I will call the Denver store tomorrow but today the phone mail box was full and cannot leave a message. Not as bad of a sign.

Studio Lites closed the Las Vegas shop around the first of the year. It was removed from the Big List then.

I have mixed feelings about the LVL closing.

I haven't been there since 2006 or 2007, forget the exact year. It was nasty, majorly skanky!

Our certain late friend used to describe the crowd as "lap dancing sluts and drooling perverts", which I would not argue with.

Back when it first opened (late 1999) it was actually a nice place. We had a couple of gatherings there for DLV 2000 and it worked out well. They had, at the time, a very entertaining floor show. Then the "industry" moved in.

My concern in recent years was that someone in our community who just wanted a place to relax and enjoy a few drinks would be a bystander to a sting or a bust and swept up with the rest of the crowd.

Yes,

The LV store is closed. They shuttered it late last year. I dropped by
the Denver store in Jan. and Rick and Chris confirmed they had all their
merchandise everywhere. They said the business has changed for what it's
worth.

I enjoyed talking to the girl s L V Lounge, there was a San Fran connection with the bar Divas on post.

I thought the Las Vegas Lounge was a bar in the sleazy category. Well.
maybe it was a store, if you want to call it that, where you could
purchase sexual favors from the girls that regularly frequented the
place. Even Dennis was once mistaken for our pimp when a group of us
DLVers went there, and we were walking in the back parking lot back to
our cars. Some "john" drove real slow and rolled his window down and
motioned to Dennis, then asked him how much for the girls? LOL!!!

I avoided intentionally ever going there because of its location. That's not the worst part of town, but it's far from being acceptable, at least to my mind. Forty years ago, maybe even thirty years ago, it was okay, but not anymore.
