Thrift Shopping?

Las Vegas has an abundance of well stocked thrift stores. For those
DLVers who want to shop on a budget, this may be a fun alternative to
the high-end shopping that is planned. Girl/boy mode casual and even
the most expensive purchase is less than you drop in the slots waiting
to eat. Anyone interested? Sarah

This includes Savers and Salvation Army.

Savers is good because they actually separate the clothes by sizes and
types. Their prices drops after a few weeks to 50% off and then only 1
dollar the following week (but no returns allowed on that week).

The only caution would be how clean the items are, and if they have been
altered.

Ooooo, thrift store shopping.

I could go for that but I'd have tp proceed with caution. See, it's
like this. In October 2002, I was in Nashville for a Halloween SB
social. On Sunday afternoon, Monique took me to a thrift store in the
college/university district of Nashville where I ran amuk in one store,
buying several shirts, petticoats and a few dresses.

I also saw a pair of round, purple, 'Elton John' sunglasses which I was
about to purchase but they were given to me by the owner as a gift due
to my spending $274. I've actually set up 5 pages on my website with
piccies of me in those outfits.

So, thrift store shoppers, proceed with caution. :)

Hi Sarah,

Please let me know where the thrift shops are. Is there more then one.

honey this girl knows all the thrift shops in town.. i think we can
arrange a van tour of all the thrift shops on an empty afternoon.. if
there is enough interest and enough vans (i have one) we can do it..
i'll even take charge of it..

Jackie,

It sounds like Mindy might be your source on this one. I'm not in Las
Vegas and don't do well on L.V. directions from my home city. I usually
need to ride in the back seat so I can lean into the front and point,
just after we pass the intersection as I scream "turn back there."
