There were actually 2 handsome escorts that year: Densie's Tony and
Tina's Tim as the pic of them on the hood of the limo (with Bridgit the
chauffeur) prove. That first year's tour organizer (me) got so busy
organizing (i.e., sleeping late) that she had to send her cousin Tim in
her place. :-)

>Aw, now you gave it away! We're going to a chicken ranch in Fort Worth,
>aren't we?

Where would a pilot be without her navigator?

Actually the famous Chicken Ranch was from LaGrange, TX located mid-way
between Austin (the state capitol) and Houston. LaGrange is a few
hundred miles away from Ft. Worth (not far by our Texas standards). Of
course, Ft. Worth (once known as Cowtown) did and still does have many
of its own fabled houses. Perhaps the Galliano caused you to confuse
the memories of two different evenings?

Putting her boots back on,

Oh yes, now I remember. He said that you looked cute with nothing on
but your glasses.

I'm sure that any discrepancies regarding the taste of Galiano [sic]
will be settled at this year's Galiano Challenge (tm).

My! My! that Tina surely does know her Texas geography and her uh, um,
er *houses*!

I have only been to two Divas, 2002 and 2003, but I have really enjoyed
the Tea at the Four Seasons. It is entirely mainstream in a most
elegant setting and is an opportunity to dress most elegantly! I too
enjoyed the Limo Tour but did not go the first year because I did not
fully understand what it was about!

I particularly enjoyed the garden party at Mindy's house in 2003 and the
production show "Jubilee" . I expect to have a good time at 2004 in May.

In 2003, I was coaxed upon the stage at Goodtimes and did a Karaoke
number with Monique and Cindy. Santa gave me a karaoke machine for
Christmas! The world is at risk! giggle!

Hugs,
Tootsye

Not possible. I've never actually tried the stuff. And since I will be
officiating the Galiano Challenge (tm) this year, I won't be eligible to
partake.

So Tootsye, does that mean I won't have to coax you on stage @ Karaoke
for DLV'04 :) In fact, I think it would be wonderful if we could have
the DLV Girls Chorus on stage for Karaoke for DLV'04. Imagine that :)
Volunteers? The more the merrier.

Also, the High Tea was a highlight for me for DLV'03.

Also, the SBS Garden Party was an AB FAB time. This venue is a SV (save
venue) event and all are welcome!

Crystal,

I guess by now you realize that the Limo tour is big highlight at DLV
and it was for me also.

However for me, attending DLV'03 for the first time, of all the
activities that I attend, the thing that was the biggest highlight
getting to meet all the other Girls!

So my advice is register and sign up for the activities that sound fun
for you and come meet alot of great people, because we all want meet
you!

See you there!

I was at DLV for 2001, 2002 & 2003.

The Sunday High Tea was fabulous in '02 & 03. The Limo tour in '02 was
great and the side trip in '03 to Area 51, Rachel, NV., was quite the
event. The reception at the Little Al-E-Inn restaurant was memorable
and the hundred mile trip was a lot of fun with about 10 girls in the
van. Being a Canadian citizen, an alien, :) I decided to let my
antennae up. (Two pieces of blue, rolled hand wipes picked up at a gas
stop along the way.

Another great event was Kate's trip to the Primm Valley Mall. Both
events were spontaneous.

I remember a special boat trip on Lake Mead with Densie and Tony! On the
way out we found the right marine store, bought some parts and made
some repairs, and arrived at the lake in great anticipation.
Unfortunately, the boat ride didn't go more than a few feet, but the
fellowship going and especially coming from the lake was terrific!

Going to the lake is always fun. As it turned out, there was some kind
of a problem in the panel, either the tach or the kill switch. Once I
disconnected those wires from the coil, it ran fine...that is, until we
took it out to test drive it. Then the trim tab came loose and went out
into the prop and destroyed the prop and the cavitation plate.

I like the idea of taking a commercial tour boat. ;)
