> These new places like Drink/Drag,
Drink And Drag is kind of an enigma to me. I'm still unsure really what they're trying to do, and the target audience they are really going after.
They've said at times that they are a "gay bar", and at other times that they are going after the more mainstream visitor business of the East Fremont entertainment district.
They have quite an eclectic mix of features. They have the bar of course, dance floor, pool tables, but a small bowling alley to the side, and a gaming (video games and such, not casino type games) area that is supposed to be open soon.
As has been noted, the club previously in their space (Jillian's) was very short-lived, and the whole Neonopolis complex is still struggling.
I would say that if you're in the area, it's well worth checking out. I don't think I would make a special trip to the area just to do it, however.
> Mafia and Erotic museums all sound like fun.
I haven't seen the Mob Museum yet. I had a personal schedule issue with the timeslot it was scheduled this year. If it's repeated next year and it's convenient, I'll probably go.
Erotic Heritage Museum is well worth the trip! Yes, it's really a museum. It does have a lot of truly scholarly work on the topic of human sexuality. You can easily spend a couple hours there. My guess is that the activity will be repeated at DLVs in the future.
