It's so hard to find larger size shoes I hate to just toss them when I have
to clear space in the closet. If I bring 6 or 8 pair of size 11 and 12
shoes to DLV, would anyone want to consider giving any of them a good home?

If not, I'll try to find an outlet locally.

Hi Kat,

I'm not sure. When I went I only asked about size 11's and she had them.
You might try going one rand asking. She's a little Oriental lady, and I
pretty sure her shop was located on aisle B or C. But she wasn't the
only shoe vendor there. I saw a couple other ones.

Hi All,

As expensive as they might be Nordstroms carries a huge selection of really
big shoes on their Web Site, I highly recommend Munro and Josef Siebel as
brands, I have shoes from both companies that I can wear and walk all day
long with out discomfort. I wouldn't hike in them, but close.

The good news, they offer free shipping for returns so you can try a few
and find one that fits perfectly.

Love ya,

Gina

Thanks Rosado,

I have been to too many shoe stores at swap meets, in the mall, and at
thrift stores and all have such beautiful shoes, however when you ask if
they carry womans heels in sizes 13 or 14 they usually say their largest
is 10 or 11, and anything there or larger is usually a flat (yuck). If
you go to the online TGirl sites they usually charge 3 to 4 times over
what you would think of they should cost. Us "Big Footed" gurils are
between a rock and a hard place.

Thanks again, if I should get up into that area I will check it out.

Hugs... Katherine

Yes, that is so very true. I'm thankful I'm size 11. Any more I'd be in your
same shoes. Good luck in finding the heels you need.

Hi Katherine,

What's your price range and quality of shoes ( ie: leather or vinyl -
kinda like buying a bag from Coach or Britton vs Walmart) you are
looking for?

The problem I have is that I may like how the shoe looks from pics or on
a display - but when its on my feet - it may not be what I imagined it
would look like and in reality it didn't look good at all.

Hi Kumi,

If I think the shoes are really hot, I will spend whatever it take to
get them, if they have my size. The thing that bothers me is when you
see a shoe in size 11 and under, at a regular mall or online, for $30 or
$40 and then you go to the online stores that cater to us CD/TG's,
displaying the same shoes in the larger sizes, for $79 to $129. Ok, the
stores charge more for the plus size clothing, usually $5 more, because
of the extra material needed, but doubling or tripling the price, to me,
is taking advantage of 1- the girl who don't pass enough to go out and
shop, and 2- the fact that a lot of us girls don't wear size 5.

As for material, type, I have them all Usually when I find a pair that
will co-ordinate with one or more outfits I jump at it. I like to get
the higher quality one, but nothing in the $$$$ range. I like comfort
and will take a $19.99 shoe over a $2000.00 shoe if it is confortable
on. I like the shoes from Jessica London, thet only go up to 13WW but
all have a padded insole that makes standing, walking and dancing
comfortable. I haven't found any "real high" heels there, usually 3-1/2"
are the max, but I have a lot of higher heels for when comfort does not
matter, just sexyness...

Gotta go, taking my grandson to see "The Avengers" movie.

LHK, Kat
