Hello all,

I wanted to pass along some very sad news. Mardi Marlowe passed away
this past Saturday afternoon, following a debilitating stroke.

I hope you all will join me in remembering Mardi, as an active,
committed and very long time member of the DLV family (nine + years)
and for her unique and brassy enthusiasm for life. She will be missed.

Oh No! Sad, sad news. Mardi was my DLV golf buddy at the two DLVs I attended even though I was the world's worst golfer and she was a very good duffer. I naturally gravitated to her kind soul and sat next to her at many dinner events.

Mardi has been a joy to spend time with at DLV and I cannot say how sad
this makes me. She was one of the first new friends I gained at DLV and
her "unique and brassy enthusiasm" opened my eyes to a corner of the TG
world that was supportive, friendly and fun. I can't count the number
of times she got on a roll and I almost wet myself laughing at her
observations and stories. This is a loss to us all, good bye and fare
well Mardi. Sarah

I am very saddened to hear about Mardi's passing. I wasn't a golfer so I
didn't get the opportunity to share that with her. But I did share other
events with her and will miss her big smile. Rest in Peace, Mardi. My
condolences and prayers go to your family and to those whose lives you
touched with your laughter and friendship.

Rosada,

I think her first year was 2002 which was my first year and I think the
first for you too. If I remember correctly she had only missed one since
and that was for a serious health issue. She was always so much fun to
be around and so optimistic! Lots of us are going to miss her.

i met mardi when we took the trip to the boneyards last year my type of gal no nonsense very uplifting and and self spoken she was the type of gal as the week continued wanted to talk to her more but never had the chance i see she will be very well missed this year i have a few pics of her with the group last year will miss her hugs Darlene Broussard LA.CA
