Thank you all for opening the door. Your kind encouragement and support
is much appreciated. I look forward to meeting you at DLV.

I have lots of questions to post and hope you can point me to some
resources or tender adivece to this neophyte wantabe.

Feet: Forget about the high heels and boots. My feet need a a sturdy
shoe in a men's size 12-13, 6E or a comprable women's size (15?) Having
looked at many sites that specialized in selling women's clothing and
shoes to men, I am at a loss. The only style that appears to be
avaliable for a big foot is the Mary Jane style. Would the Mary Jane be
appropriate for most occasions? Also, are there men's styles that might
be servicable and fit a woman's wardrobe without looking out of place?
The only style that comes to mind is the penny loafer or moccasin.

All suggestions will be welcome.

I am a shoe girl myself and love my Mary Janes. How about the slip on
style @ Lands End or clogs.

Everyone of us had to begin somewhere and I think it is most important

The first is to find your shoe size. Women have big feet also. Some
older dept stores or shoe stores still have the foot measuring device.
It usually has both men and women on the same device. If you can find
it it helps in finding the ball park sizing.

Some people go by the numbers as in 1-2 numbers different. For example a
mens size 7 can be a womans size 9.

One should find the size and look at what's available. Then try to find
the style that will match the clothes you are wearing. You need to look
at women at the malls with similar size feet and also women in general
to see the styles the wear with their clothing. Then see which style
will give you the most femme feet.

If sandals it exposes the toe nail. One thing that will give you femme
feet in sandals is to paint them.

Go to www.Ambitionshoes.com, www.Cowardshoes.com, www.WillowRidge.com,
and Dannette's 'Designers' too. Go directly to 'pumps' and you can
shop to your heart's content. If you're anything like me, you have an
absolute fetish for shoes. You'll find what you're looking for in the
lower to mid-heel conservative styles in the one to two inch height
range. Conservative style works best for our age. Don't buy cheap,
spend a little more to get so much more quality. You'll finally settle
on a brand that looks and works the best for you. Like dress
designers, shoe designers all have different ways of seeing shoes.
Personally, I love Ros Hommersons, cause they are elegantly stylish
without being quirky or ultra modern, and they are very well made. I
look my age in them with just the right touch of glam, and you can get
them for under 60 bucks. Occassionally you can find them on sale but by
then they will be out of the larger sizes. Buy colors to match your
wardrobe: taupe will go with greens, white will go with most anything,
brown will go with reds and greys, black will go with anything, pink
will go with blues, etc. Don't get carried away with patterns either,
they will betray you quickly; stay with solid, muted, pastel colors and
patents; out of 14 pair, I have only one pair of snakeskins, but they
only look right when I'm naked. Kumiko is right; go to a local shoe
store where you can try on some heels and get your correct measurement
first; then, go to a thrift store and hide in a corner and try on what
you can find. Bring a pair of cheap heels home and practice walking in
them for a week or two, then, go get measured again - That will be your
corrrect size. Then, dress, take pictures, make a video, post on
Facebook, become famous, party with the Hiltons, etc. etc.

Dear Farro Song,

Online sites that feature the larger sizes can be Googled, try "womens
shoes in larger sizes. Usually the manufacturer "Pleaser" can be
optained in many sizes and styles. I wear a men's 12, sometimes I can
get away with an a womans 11W or 12W depending on the cut and style.

Hi Farrosong,

I have purchased shoes from "Dream shoes" www.shoesofyourdreams.com they
have focused on women's style shoes in large sizes and regularly deal
with men. Be sure to read the size descriptions for each shoe. Large
women's style shoes "size" is only slightly more useful than Women's
clothing "size".

I have also had some luck at Bare Foot Tess http://www.barefoottess.com
They are have 20% off sales on a regular basis.

The width you use in male sizes will be more of a challenge than the
length. Have hope.

In a men's size I usually need a 14D/15E (New balance is 15-4E)and I
have been able locate shoes that work. In dry weather sometimes a
sandal style shoes is more forgiving of width (plus you can show off
your toe-nail polish).

If you end up visiting the Portland Oregon area, I'd be happy to dig out
some of the shoes I have that are too small for me for you to try.

Hi Farrosong and Kat,

We got a store here in LV that carries the "Pleaser" brand, located on
west Sahara next door to Escape Lounge and across the street from Studio
Lights. Being a shoe fetisher, I got three pair of them at around 60.00
bucks per pair, pink, red, and white patent leather; I wear a 12WW.
They are major erotic and very well constructed. They got "Pleasers"
and a whole bunch of other brands too. Oh, and Sergay's Wig Shop has
moved out on W. Sahara too, just down the road west, in case anyone is
interested.
