Hi Annie,
You know Annie I don't think there are any of the regular attendees to
DLV who think you did a poor job. On the contrary, all I have read are
accolades of how successful this year's DLV was and how much fun it was
from the regular girls, and BTW, I am going to include myself in this
bunch because, although,it is only my second year, I do plan on making
DLV a regular yearly event.
I don't get the opportunity to dress that often and so, for me DLV is
going to be the event which allows me to let loose and, girls, let it
all hang out! Well, withing reason anyway; and what is age appropriate!
Nothing worse than some 50 plus year old gal trying to act or dress like
a teeny bopper or conduct herself like some young prima donna.
Now, about the complainers. Leah put in perfectly when she said that DLV
is practically laid out for "you" (you being whoever complained) and
this service is provided to you for free. It's a win-win thing for you.
No headaches from having to plan out the activities. All you have to do
is show up (or stay in touch with Annie so she knows you are going to be
there or not be there) and have fun, by golly! No one is going to do
that for you.
You will have to make some effort. If you think you can do a better job
then next year when the call is made for volunteers to head up an
activity and do all the planning and logistics, then I challenge you to
contact Annie and volunteer. You know it is easier to be a complainer
than a mover and a doer. If you think you can do a better job then "sh_t
or get off the pot"! Those are my two cents worth of comments about this
matter.
See all of you gals, ladies, sisters next year, even the complainers,
that is if you show up, because this gal knows DLV spells F - U -N!!!!!!
