Making friends before the event.

I would love to get to know some of the attendees before the event so I
can be looking forward to the actual face-to-face meeting. Anyone
wishing to exchange emails would be welcome.

I am mid 50's, a life-long crossdresser from Cedar Rapids, Iowa. I enjoy
getting out in public whenever I can. I formed a support group in Iowa
back in the 80s called Iowa Artistry, a group that grew to over 100
members. I have also hosted and organized several Fall Harvest events. I
love to help others grow in their feminine understanding and expression.
I have been a presenter at college classes for over 20 years and spoken
in front of more than 10,000 students in that time.

I am planning on attending as many of the activities at DLV as possible,
especially the golf outing. I look forward to meeting as many attendees
as I can and look forward to hearing from you. I am anxiously counting

You probably know me then. I was a regular at Fall Harvest in the
1990s and early 2000s. I am the one on the left in this photo:

As you probably know, Fall Harvest was then the world's fifth
largest TG event. I really hated to see it go downhill!

What you probably don't know is that DLV's sister event, Pinkfest
in Chicago, came about due to the cancellation of FH in 2001.

Hi Annie. I am looking forward to seeing you in LV. Where do you live
now? Did you ever attend Fall Harvest when it was hosted by Iowa
Artistry? I helped with the event when it was in Kansas City, St. Louis,
and Omaha also.

I missed the year when it was in Cedar Rapids (Iowa City?) in
the mid 1990s (1996?) as I was on business in Chicago that
week.

I was looking forward to FH in Cedar Rapids in 2001, but as we
know, the 9/11 situation sorta put the kabosh on it. :(

I was at FH in Omaha both in 1997 and 2002. I was also at the
one in St. Louis in 2000. I think that was the year, anyway. :)
