i suppose i could "look it up," but if someone already knows, this would
save time: what are the regulations pertaining to transporting a handgun
(.32) from california to nevada in a Privately Owned Vehicle, and within
nevada in the POV? thanks, & hoping to join the firefight; eliese.

In California,

Unloaded and locked in a separate case from the ammunition.

In Nevada, following the same rules would be a good idea, that way
you don't forget when you get back to the Socialist Republic of
Kalifornia....

Eliese,

Assuming you do not have a CCW in California the requirement is unloaded
and locked in a container out of reach. I comply with this by using a
plastic hard case with a padlock and placing that in the trunk or back
of the SUV. My Envoy has a nice compartment under the cargo area floor.
I believe this is also satisfactory in Nevada. I'm not a lawyer nor do I
play one on TV, LOL, so take this with a grain of salt.
