>Whether it was because of TG or not I don't know.
I think it's more of a general case that we, "we" being those
of us who are over 30, over 130, TG, not flashing a lot of
cash, or all of the above, are not those they particularly
want in the club.
The image of these clubs is carefully crafted to appear as
the ideal mating territory for het/cisgender types who are
either exceptionally attractive, have a lot of cash, or
both! Those are the ones they want in there. They don't
want TGs, they don't want older women, they don't want women
of size, and they don't want nerdy guys unless they flash
the cash.
>What I do feel is that the demand for entering the club is
>often greater than what the club can accommodate. Therefore
>the club can be choosy with who they can admit.
On Friday or Saturday, I would say that capacity is indeed an
issue, and that's really what they size the clubs for, their
weekend crowds. During the weekdays I'm sure they still get a
good crowd, but not to the point that they really need to
hold people on line for extended periods of time.
>I'm not saying that's right, but it just seems to be that way.
Nightclub discrimination is probably right on the line of what
is legal (IANAL), but that's the way the game is played.
If you read the Las Vegas talk boards, this is a recurring
topic.
>From what I've read, men, either by themselves, or in groups,
>have a much harder time getting in than beautiful young women.
Yes and no. Yes, twentybopper hotties always get in, and often
times they don't even see the line, or the door that most of
the others see.
As for guys, if they get on line with the plebeans, yes, they
wait, and wait, and wait -- unless ...
1. "Bottle service" or "table service", put down the cash,
buy a table with a bottle, and you get in, for a price.
2. There's a whole "nightclub host" industry, private (or so
they say) firms and individuals who will arrange line passes,
table reservations, etc., for a price, of course.
The guys that these clubs want are those who show their
willingness to part with large sums of cash.
>And I've read that basically the clubs aim to have a certain
>mix inside, and that often steers toward beautiful genetic
>women.
The clubs compete with each other to have the image of being
the club with the most attractive and most available-looking
young women, yes.
This is what attracts the guys with the bucks!
>Now I did attend a private party a few months back.
And when the club is "bought out" for a private party, it's
whoever bought out the club who decides who gets in, not Guido.
>I am thinking that getting a table reservation is the best
>way to go.
Bottle service, at a price, of course, is a known way to
bypass the line. Of course there's nothing that says that
even if you have a reservation for table/bottle service,
that Guido could come up with some excuse to deny your
entrance.
>After all, money talks. Besides, you have a place to sit.
Not to bring up a sore subject, but one of our people got
"burned" on bottle service on Friday of DLV week when her
table-mates did not show. :)
>Let's get some advice here. What do you think?
Not to be a party pooper, or maybe I'm just showing my age,
but I'm not really "getting it" why our people, who are far
from the demographic of these clubs even if gender is not
considered, have such a desire to to to these clubs.
Why?
I don't know, I'm asking.
