Its no only walking from one casino property to another, for some
casinos, you've got the hike from the street to the casino, ie Bellagio.
Or walking around a big casino can be a hike and takes several
minutes.
I've gotten blisters just doing that at places like Mandalay Bay, NYNY,
MGM, TI, Mirage,etc.
Since I'm using the Bellagio as a example, its takes several minutes to
go from the main entrance to the Buffet, and thats as the crow flies,
and not getting lost inside the casino. Another is the parking lot of
MGM to Studio 54. Once the blisters are there, its pain for one's feet
the rest of the night and of DLV. The redness can be seen if wearing
sandals.
I would also suggest that one breaks in the heels, flats, sandals or
sneakers before getting to LV. Bring the ones most comfortable. It
will help reduce the corns and blisters. Walking in LV is not a good
place to break in the footwear. It can cause you to walk funny (limp),
or change your femme walk to a male walk, or something more noticeable,
that can bring attention to yourself. Taking them off and walking
bare-foot in a casino is also very noticeable, and can open oneself to
getting read, and your foot stepped upon, or walking over something
that can penetrate ones foot, like glass from a broken glass cup that is
invisible to they eye - which will cause more hardship.
What one wears also defines what footwear is worn. So if you want to
wear flats or sneakers, then dress accordingly also. Females will be
the first to notice any obvious mis-match of clothing with shoes.
I've been checked out by alot of GGs. Its interesting is those that do,
they start either from the foot and look up to the head, or from the
head to the foot. They completely check you out as far as overall
appearance then concentrate on certain parts. Guys tend to look at the
crotch/hips/butt or boobs first, then the face.
Hose while wearing heels also helps prevent blisters too, and also sheer
hose with sandals, where the hose is almost invisible. Its sometimes
not fashionable when wearing visible colored hose or nylons with
sandals - it just looks funny. Neither is wearing sandals showing bad
blisters or band-aides.
