Thank you! :)

It's my impression that this is a pre-staged area built for just this purpose. I also assume that the operators have some means of varying the means of escape.

Suggested activities for DLV2017

Did most coasters in LV in femme mode.

NYNY coaster -- if they haven't re-furbished it, the ride is quite
violent as in shaking and pushing the head all over, banging it on the
padded side rails on each side of the head.Circus Circus - smooth ride
-- I think more safer as for kids that ride it.Primm - outside, and
tends to be fast, a good amount of G force and wind against the face.

Recommendation:

Ride without any glasses on head. Even with elastic straps, the coaster
can shake it loose (moreso if going inverted upside down), or the 'G'
force can easily knock it off. If you cant see without it, maybe its
better that way. Anything is better than loosing prescription glasses or
a expensive sun glasses.

Wearing a wig is a issue. One can succeed if the original hair can hold
the wig on the head with a ton of hair pins BUT that may not be enough.
I wouldn't just depend on just hair pins in high wind and G forces.

One solution I have used is a hoodie sweat top with a draw string that
can tighten the hood around the face but smaller that your circumference
of your head to keep the hood on the head and covering the wig securely
during the ride. The opening allows you to see, but too small to open up
and come off your head, and bow tied so it doesn't come loose during the
quick ride. Quickly secure on the hood as the coaster goes up the
initial ramp before the initial release down the first drop. Warning -
if the hood opens during the ride, the wind will cause the wig to fly
off. Do this in practice before the ride so that the movements are quick
and set quickly before the drop. Once the ride ends, release the bow tie
and take the hood off.

At the end of the ride, if the wig has come loose, don't remove the
hoodie, and go to the ladies room to a stall to reset the wig on your
head.

The hoodie has worked for me at all the LV coasters, and also in LA at
Magic Mountain (esp X2), Disneyland, and Knotts Berry Farm. Even on
Tatsu at Magic Mountain, I ended up face down, but wig was still on head
and hair was messy but like real hair does, and the wig cap securely on
my head.

The hoodie also protects you somewhat if someone gets sick and throws-up
on the ride, or decides to pee in fear --- a long sleeve hoodie will
keep your top of the body clean, except for the face.

Wear a butt pack instead of a handbag if planning to go on a coaster, so
that one doesn't need a locker to store stuff during the ride. A pack to
hold essentials, and not the kitchen sink. Butt packs worn under the
hoodie is generally small enough to be hidden under the hoodie jacket.
Make sure the butt pack is zippered for its contents will fall out if
open.

I had thought of creating a pin and a group to ride coasters at DLV -
and called Order of the Flying Wigs - for us femme girls in wigs going
on wild coaster rides and either haven't loss the wig or has loss a
wig.... but not much interest at that time.

oh, one more thing, fake boobs tend to move around during the ride. The
fake boobs can actually lift up and come out if the bra isn't full
coverage and on every occasion it has at least moved around and one has
to re-adjust after the ride. So wearing a full size support bra helps.
Wearing a hoodie jacket and zipped or buttoned up helps keep the boobs
in its place. One doesn't need to see one of their boobs float away
during the ride.

Usually there is a camera and flash unit taking pic of the riders at a
specific location during the coaster ride -- some have a sign to
indicate camera ahead and to smile. Most places it is the first and
highest drop point. If you want your pic taken, its best to know where
the camera is and pose at that time so one looks good on the second time
on it. For me there hasn't been one photo I liked, posed or not.

The bad is they have a booth at the end of the ride that shows your ride
and each row displayed -- and then ask for money for a print of it.

Having a camera during the ride is usually not allowed - it can hurt
someone if it flies out of your control. But seems people do, and some
take moving videos during the ride so it is being done.

One more thing - fake eye lashes, will come loose, or get torn off by
the wind. I've lost several on coaster rides. One may end up with only
one eye lash, so be prepared to lose it. The fake lash can also scratch
your eyes since the wind and G force can push it into your eye too. So
this is also something one may choose not to put on if riding a coaster.

Going on any coaster or carnival ride, I wear athletic shoes, can be
femme, and most male or female sneakers look alike. I'm not sure if
sandals or heels are good ideas when riding coasters. Getting to the
ride and climbing steps tends to go with coaster rides, or some the feet
dangles in the air, and loose sandals or slippers can fall off the foot.
Heels can get caught on metal steps. Wearing a short skirt too is
problematic of coverage, so be aware of what you are wearing.
