For some reason, that stretch along Karen Avenue is just plain scary! The past couple of times at the LVL (still, several years ago) I always had somebody with me, but I still did not feel warm and fuzzy.

For some reason I don't feel the same vibes in other parts of Commercial Center. I had no issues going to the old Cobalt/Rainbow, and that's literally right around the corner from the LV Lounge.

I've always felt perfectly safe at the Spotlight, but that's right on Sahara.

Can you please confirm the phone number with your friend? One of our volunteers phoned the listed number and got a "number not in service" message.

let me try to clear this up.

the thread began about the Las Vegas Lounge not Studiolites.

annie asked about las vegas lounge closing

then robyn says studiolites closed and she tried to call and it was disconnected.

Studiolites DID close but we are not talking about studiolites we are talking about the dive bar called las vegas lounge. my roommate called 702-737-9350 and got in touch with the las vegas lounge and it is still open.

i myself am baffled as to why all the other trans bars like suede, drink and drag, zingers etc... keep going out of business and yet las vegas lounge is still there...

Thanks for following through on this. It's been reinstated on the Big List.

That's easy! Their revenue does not come from the sale of beverages. :)

But seriously, over the years of DLV we've seen countless bars open and quickly close. Most of them were just majorly undercapitalized and could not make it over the hump until the cash flow turned positive.

One you mentioned had a spectacular launch but kind of imploded due to internal conflicts.

And - LOL, one certain mainstream but TG friendly club closed when its owner and namesake happened to be, literally, chased out of town by very angry creditors and tenants! :)

Hi ladies

There's a gay bar near lvl called Badlands. I had my first public outing there (I recently moved here to Vegas) and it was comfy. They have a drag show on Friday nights I think starts at 11. It's a well lit bar, great bartenders as well

3 WEEKS AGO THE MANGER OF DIVAS SAN FRANSISCO MET 3 WORKING GIRLS FROM LAS VEGAS,THEY TOLD HER THE LOUNGE WAS CLOSED AND THAT'S WHY THEY CAME TO S F TO WORK.
NOW THE OWNER HAS BEEN KNOWN TO RUN OUT OF MONEY PERIODICAL AND HIS FAMILY COMES TO THE RESCUE. IT COULD HAVE BEEN THEY WERE NOT SO QUICK IN GETTING THE FAMILY MONEYS AND CLOSED FOR A WEEK OR TWO.
THIS IS INTRIGUING ME SO MY FIRST STOP WILL BE THE LOUNGE ON WED. THE 26. TO GET TO THE BOTTOM OF THIS DRAMA. I WILL POST THEN UNLESS SOMEONE GOES IN SOONER AND FINDS OUT IF THEY REALLY CLOSED.

I drove by LVL last night around midnight. The doors were open and a girl standing outside...lights were on. Looked very open to me

I don't understand why the place hasn't been shut down by the cops long ago.

Cops are probably getting some type of payback that's why.
