Wrapping it up:
Thanks again, gang, for making DLV 2001 the best-attended and most
successful DLV ever. Final headcount was 62, a bit lower than the
projection, but still a very good turnout.
No major problems were reported. Most of the activities were well
attended and have received positive feedback. Thanks for all the notes
and comments that have come in so far. I'll share those with the group
as we share feedback.
I hope everybody made it home safely and remembers DLV 2001 as something
very special.

Special thanks:
I would like to say thanks to some very special individuals who put forth
that special effort toward making Diva Las Vegas 2001 as special as it
was ...
To Denise and Gina for organizing (and piloting) the Friday morning air
tours. I've heard nothing but raves for this event. It was amazingly
successful and a real hit!
To Mindy for coordinating the Second Annual Diva Las Vegas Open! I
understand the audience found it very enlightening and entertaining. :)
To Tina and Tim for sponsoring and coordinating the Sunday evening Folies
Bergere show and subsequent limo tour. The Del Mar Motel will never be the
same. BTW, Tim is an excellent bartender. :)
A big round of applause and thanks from all of us to Bob for the most
excellent Hoover Dam tour. They say "you don't know what you've got 'till
it's gone". This may be the last year DLV gets a tour like this, since
Bob will be retiring before the next DLV.
To all our volunteer Big Sisters and drivers, who made DLV much more
pleasant for all of us.
Last but certainly not least, to the most important people to DLV, you,
the 60+ participants, without whom DLV would be nothing! You're a super
bunch of people, and a joy to be with!

Call for comments:
The time has come, the geekbabe said, to talk of many things. Of Kenny
Kerr and Hoover Dam ... {okay, okay, I wore that one out last year.} :)
Now is the time to give your feedback. Some has come in already, but I
know more is out there. :)
We need to know your thoughts and feelings about DLV 2001. What you liked,
what you did not like, what events you want to see repeated or expanded,
what events you want to see ash-canned, your comfort level in public and
with the group, any particular difficulties or challenges you had, and,
of course, suggestions for making DLV better.
The comment line is now open. Just hit REPLY and speak your mind, both
positive and negative.

The burning questions:
For your feedback, you might comment on these questions. Anything from
simple yes/no answers to a detailed essay on each would be appropriate.
1. Of the activities you attended, which did you most like and why?
Which did you least like and why?
2. Of the activities you chose to skip, why did you do so? Was it lack
of interest, schedule conflict, time crunch, too public, etc.?
3. Did you patronize any of our recommended vendors? If so, are you
satisfied with their products and services? Are there any vendors that
should be added to our list?
4. Did you visit any clubs and bars that were not covered by the DLV
activities? Would you recommend them for a group activity?
5. Did you do anything on your own that you would recommend we consider
as a DLV activity?
6. How were your hotel accommodations? Would you recommend your hotel
to other DLV people?
7. Would you attend another DLV? Why or why not?
8. Would you prefer a more structured or a less structured schedule
of activities for DLV 2002?
9. Do you have any suggestions for other activities that you think the
group might enjoy?
