DLV timeframe extended:

Due to popular demand, DLV 2004 has been extended and will now begin
on Sunday, May 2, 2004.

Two main reasons played a role in this extension. First, it seems
like our people always want a longer DLV, and we do have the volunteer
commitments to extend. Second, this allows a full 6-days for those who
have family commitments regarding Mothers Day and have to leave early
the following weekend.

Since DLV is a continuous stream of activities, and does not have any
"main event", you can come and go as your schedule (and pocketbook)
allows without fear of missing "the best part".

So, please adjust your calendars to show DLV 2004 from Sunday, May 2
thru Saturday, May 8, 2004.

Activity updates:

Even though DLV is still 6 months away, we've already been testing the
fit of activities and timeslots to see how things will work.

Yes, we've heard your call for more group activities during the day, so
we will have a rich and varied set of daytime activities, including a
side trip to Rhyolite (authentic "ghost town"), garden party, boat
cruise on Lake Mead, bowling, golf, shopping expedition, indoor
skydiving, high tea, art tour, vendor open house sessions and others.

We'll also have daily lunch/brunch again, and a daily happy hour.

More SO-oriented activities are also in the works. Stay tuned for
details.

For the evening, we'll repeat some of the sure winners such as the limo
tour, karaoke, and annual mixer, dinners at some DLV faves such as
Milano's and Carluccio's, plus some new ones such as Hard Rock Cafe.

We're also trying to bring back Rocky Horror Picture Show to DLV. (I see
you shiver with antici ... ... ... ... {say it!} PATION!)

Yes, production shows will be on the schedule too.

As usual, everything will be optional, and as always you won't pay for
those things you don't want to do.

There's still plenty of time between now and DLV, so if there's
something you would like to suggest for a group activity, please send
it in.

Things to come:

In December we will be announcing our suggested hotels for DLV 2004.

As usual, these will be suggetions only, and you are free to stay
wherever you wish. If you want to stay where others are, this will let
you know where groups of DLV people will be, and if you want to keep
your distance from the Teeming Millions, this will tell you where to
avoid. :)

In January, we'll open express re-registration for returnees. This will
be a personalized clickable link sent to you in e-mail. It will allow
you to very quickly and conveniently re-register for DLV 2004. Just
confirm a few things, answer a few questions, and you're on your way.

In February we will begin pre-registration for members of this list.
Those who are on this list who have never attended will be able to
register at that time.

General DLV 2004 registration will begin in March.

I'm truly thankful there is such a wonderful group of ladies here
helping to encourage people to trust in their feelings, be who they
really are and promote self expression. I've only lived in Las Vegas
since June and have found a warm and wonderful community here.
