This will be the last mailing on the DLV 2004 Announcement List. The
next item you will receive will be the June-July DLV 2005 update, which
probably will not say that much. :) :)

For the rest of the year 2004, you can expect one update mailing per
month or so just giving the status of how things are developing for
DLV 2005. The DLV Discussion Forum will remain open, but will be
moving to the new URL shortly.

Once again, thanks to everybody who did their part to make DLV 2004 what
it was. In almost every respect, things went exceptionally well during
DLV 2004.

The DLV 2004 survey report and comments are now on line in the DLV 2004

As you will see, and as you probably figured, :) DLV 2004 was very
highly rated. We appreciate the feedback, both in the form of the survey
checkboxes and in the written comments. These will be used to work
toward an even better DLV.

Final call for DLV 2004 photo vetoes. DLV 2004 followup pages will start
to appear in this coming week.

And ... Call For Photographs is still open. We just started staging area
15. I know there are a few of you who said you were sending photos in
which have not been received.

One last call for volunteers to assist with the planning of DLV 2005.

PLEASE NOTE: IF YOU VOLUNTEERED ON THE SCREEN THAT WAS LINKED FROM THE
DLV 2004 SURVEY AND HAVE NOT YET RECEIVED A WELCOME MESSAGE TO THE ORG
LIST, PLEASE WRITE TO dlvorg@geekbabe.com AND STATE THAT YOU WISH TO
VOLUNTEER. There were a few responses that were not legible, bounced,
or could not be matched up with anybody's e-mail address. Thanks.

If you're interested, simply send a brief e-mail message to
dlvorg@geekbabe.com and state you wish to volunteer. (Or, just reply
to this mailing and state that you wish to volunteer.)

Please include a sentence or two stating how you are most interested in
helping out. Anything general or specific ("I wanna plan a sky-diving
party.", or "I'll help any way I can.") is perfectly fine. Anything
from one sentence to a book length manuscript will be ok. :)

If you already volunteered via the final screen of the survey, you are
already on the list, and you do not have to answer this calling unless
you want to make some of your ideas known early in the process.
