Monday is our 90 day mark. 90 day in advance prices will expire.

Registration report:

As of this writing we currently have 85 individuals registered,
including 14 SOs. This is with returnee registration open for less
than three weeks. All signs are pointing to a very heavy turnout
this year. (For a comparison, at the same relative time last year
we had 54 individuals registered.)

No validations are outstanding as of this time. Thanks for your
cooperation on this! :)

Thursday evening show - Love at the Mirage:

"Love", produced by Cirque du Soleil, has been selected as our
Thursday evening Pre-Limo-Tour show.

Love features the music of The Beatles, remixed and remastered,
and interpreted by the Cirque du Soleil troupe.

We will be attending the 7:00pm performance of Love on Thursday,
April 26, 2007.

Our Annual Limousine Tour will depart from the Mirage on Thursday
shortly after the Love show concludes. You may sign up for the Limo
Tour at activity sign-up time, which will begin on or about April 1.

First of all, my thanks to Christina at the Mirage box office,
who displayed the patience of a saint while I asked question upon
question.

The Love theater holds approximately 2500 people. There are about 800
tickets left for the 7pm April 26th show (which is why I wanted to
book early).

Christina said that her favorite seats are in the orange section
($137.50), which afford a more complete view than sitting on the floor
($165.00). The balcony seats ($102.85) are good, but are almost sold
out. The upper balcony ($75.90) are also good seats as a cheaper
alternative, and there are about 40 of them left for this performance.

The $108.90 seats are closer to the floor, but are obstructed view
and are not recommended.

I have purchased my seat in section 209, Row P, Seat 12. This is a
$137.50 seat. The row is still wide open so if you want to sit in this
price range you should call the box office (800-963-9637 or local number
702-792-7777) and book seats in this row or row R behind it (the rows
below this one are mostly sold out / single seats). Be sure to ask for
Section 209.

If you would like the less expensive seating, the Upper Balcony ($75.90)
seats in sections 304 and 306 are all open. I would recommend you ask
for section 306 first which is on the same side of the auditorium as
209, then ask for 304 after 306 sells out.

You can cancel your ticket for a full refund up to 24 hours prior to
the performance.

I will be in the area outside the theater at 6 PM to greet attendees,
and lead everyone in a chorus of "We love you Ringo, oh yes we do!".

Our schedule:

Each general mailing from now until DLV will include the current
working schedule summary.

At this time it is very preliminary, although several of our major
"anchor" activities are quite solid. Others will be added, some may
actually be removed, and others, particularly the smaller ones, may
be moved to different timeslots if necessary to get a better overall
fit.

The final detailed schedule, with activity locations, detailed date,
time, and price information, dress suggestions, and detailed directions,
will be sent in the Large Final Mailing (week prior to DLV) to those who
register.

Newcomer registration:

Registration for newcomers who are members of our mailing list (if
you are reading this via e-mail, this includes you) will open Sunday,
February 4.

Ms. Free Drink winner:

Congratulations to Grace, who is the winner of this year's first Ms.
Free Drink Pageant. Grace will receive the drink of her choice at this
year's Welcome Celebration on Monday of DLV week.

First runner-up is Julie Brenda. Should Ms. Free Drink be in any way
unable to meet her obligation, Julie will be elevated to imbibe in her
absence.

If you don't know what this is all about, please re-read the last
general mailing (see link above) -- very carefully!

Golf mailing list:

One of the highlights of DLV for many of our people is the Diva
Las Vegas Invitational, which is recognized as the world's first
regularly-scheduled TG golf match.

I daresay that some people consider DLV to be a golf match
surrounded by other activities. :)

This is scheduled for Wednesday, April 25.

This is open to all DLV attendees, SO's, guests and friends, of all
skill levels.

We've set up a mailing list for discussion and planning of this year's
golf. If you're interested in playing golf with the DLV group this
year, please join the golf list. Just send a brief e-mail to:

Further golf details will be announced as the date approaches.

How do you sign up for golf, you ask? You can sign up for golf at
activity sign-up time which will begin on or about April 1.

Roommate Clearing House:

Sharing a room is one thing that can help quite a bit to make DLV
affordable. Two to a room cuts the expense by 1/2. Three to a room
cuts it by 2/3.

We have a roommate clearing house to help match potential roommates.

You can sign up for roommate matching when you register, or you can
submit your name in advance by e-mailing: roommate@geekbabe.com

If you do this in advance, include your name (obviously), your e-mail,
when you will be arriving and departing, whether you have a room and
need a roommate or are looking for space in one, what scale of room
(budget? luxury?), do you smoke, do you (knowingly) snore, and any
other information that will help Diane make a better roommate match
for you.

Two very important things to keep in mind regarding roommate matching.

First, this is for the purpose of saving money and for congenial
companionship only. If you want something else in a "roommate",
you are on your own, sorry.

Second, sharing rooms is entirely at your own risk. DLV organizers and
volunteers will not be responsible if somebody fails to show, fails to
make reservations, fails to make a room available, fails to settle up
financially, etc.
