DLV 2008 dates:

This is an early special mailing, the first of the DLV 2008 general
mailings, dealing with the proposed dates for Diva Las Vegas 2008.

The DLV Organizers' Group is proposing the timeframe of Monday, April
21 thru Saturday, April 28 for DLV 2008.

Yes, this happened earlier this year than it has happened in the past.

A one-month call for comments, ending July 15, 2007, is now in effect,
prior to these dates being final.

This timeframe received significant support in DLVORG and was decided
by acclamation. One other timeframe was nominated, but failed to get
a second, making this proposal very close to unanimous.

Due diligence was done prior to announcing these dates, to be sure
that large conventions which would drive up room rates are avoided,
and to avoid such conflicts as the family holidays of Easter and
Mothers Day.

The floor is now open for your comments and will be open until
July 15. To comment, simply reply to this mailing, or post your
comments in the DLV Discussion Forum on line at:

Last Call for Photos:

The DLV 2007 Call For Photos will conclude at 11:59pm on June 15
(that's this Friday night). The staging area will remain open until
July 1.

Over 100 additional photos have been added to the staging area
within the past week or so. The Night Of The Soiled Doves photos
have been released and appear in the staging area as well.

Everyone who attended DLV 2007 has a reasonable number of "NO
WAY" requests regarding the photos in which they appear. (This
does not include large group photos.) To submit your "VETO" on
any photo, please cut-paste the URL of the photo into an e-mail
and send to dlv@geekbabe.com

Thanks to all who have submitted photos this year. We will have
an excellent set of follow-up pages.

If you attended DLV and did not receive the staging area URL, or
if you have misplaced it, write to dlv@geekbabe.com and we will
send it to you.
