Welcome:

Welcome to all, both those who just joined the list, and
those who are already with us. This is where we will be
posting information about Diva Las Vegas 2011, which will
happen next spring.

This is the first general mailing for DLV 2011.

You can expect to receive our general mailings every 1-2
months or so for the remainder of 2010, unless there are
certain time-sensitive issues.

Planning for DLV 2011 will begin shortly. Proposed dates
will be announced this autumn.

Two week warning - photo staging area:

All photo removal requests which have been received have been
processed. If you sent in a removal request, please check to
be sure the indicated photos are gone.

The photo staging area for DLV 2010 will close on Saturday,
August 14. This will be a hard-stop cut-off. Additional
photo removal requests will be accepted up to August 14.

Everyone who attended DLV 2010 should have now received a
link to the photo staging area. If you did not receive this
or have misplaced it, please write in and let us know.

DLV 2011 volunteers:

Those who answered our Call For Volunteers during and after
DLV 2010 should have received an introductory message from
the DLVORG mailing list within the last week. If you
volunteered but have not received this, please reply
to this mailing and let us know.

If you have not volunteered to help out with DLV and would
like to do so, just reply to this mailing and say so. We'll
get you added to the list.

We appreciate the efforts of all volunteers, recent and
long-time, in making DLV the success it has been!

There's Pinkfest in October!

Pinkfest is a vacation, not a convention. (Sound familiar?) It
happens each October in Chicago. It's much smaller than DLV,
but it's a lot of fun!

Pinkfest has no official connection to DLV, but the roots
of both are intertwined. Yes, if you attend Pinkfest you're
sure to see some familiar faces. :) Likewise, we have a good
mix of mainstream and alternative venues and facilities at
Pinkfest.

For this year we are again honored to have Ginger (of Lunch
With Ginger fame) as Social Director of Pinkfest! :) Ginger
has already been planning the goings-on for Pinkfest 2010.

Pinkfest 2010 will happen Thursday, October 21 - Sunday,
October 24. Information is on line at:

We have an announcement/discussion mailing list for Pinkfest.

Vendor Big List:

Our most "hit on" page on our web site is what we call the
"Big List" of vendors and merchants in the Las Vegas area.
It's very well covered by all of the major search engines
and is frequently accessed by those searching for Las Vegas
TG information.

This now contains over 100 "green light" vendors who have
been known to provide good service to members of the TG
community. The information on this page has been supplied
by YOU over the years, including user-supplied ratings and
comments on the listed vendors.
