Mid-month report:
We've had a number of one-liners indicating the dates of Wednesday, May
2 thru Monday. May 7 will be fine. No major objections, and not really
any discussion except for a few items on the dlvorg list.
Going once! We want to have the dates of DLV 2001 in stone by the
first of September, so if anybody has anything further to say about
the proposed dates (May 2 - May 7) please speak now.
This will be the last notice of the call for discussion. :)

Attending DLV:
>I have never been to a group t* event, though I've been out a modest
>number of times dressed. Las Vegas, from your descriptions on the
>website, looks like a good venue...
Las Vegas is a very good place for things like this. Very live-and-
let-live. Fun for either the beginner or the experienced.
>As for my comfort level, I feel I would want to stay at the hotel with
>the most other grrls there. The Tropicana, maybe?
This year we will most likely have an "official" hotel, but we won't
know which one until around January of 2001. Tropicana has a reputation
of being GLBT friendly, though.
>I'll be turning 41
>next May, and this could be a great way to celebrate my birthday.
Happy Birthday! :) (in advance)

Schedule:
>I like the new scedule. It always has been a pain to work around
>Mother's Day.
Yes, and that's what concensus seems to say.
>I'm hoping to make it to the RHPS convention in October.
I'd actually consider taking time off to go to that, but it falls on the
same weekend as Fall Harvest, which I'm already committed to.
I'm curious as to how the management of Circus Circus reacts to what is
to be. A Rocky-Con will make DLV seem quite tame by comparison. :)
