June-July update:

This is the first of the monthly summaries that will come out to this
list during the next 6 months. In January, we will begin the weekly
as needed schedule which will run until DLV 2004.

The DLV 2004 Discussion Forum is now live and available on line at:

Those of you subscribed to last year's discussion forum will continue
to be subscribed to this year's.

The DLV 2003 forum is now locked down at its original URL and is
considered to be an archive. A link to it and all kinds of historical
DLV lists is on the main DLV 2004 Discussion Forum page at the link
above.

Quite a few of the DLV 2003 followup pages are now on line at:

Preliminary plans are already underway for DLV 2004.

Dates are not set yet, but tentative dates will be announced at the
end of July, allowing a one month call for comments before they are
considered final.

DLV 2004 will most likely begin on a Sunday or Monday in May and end
the following Saturday night, with a possible option or extension to
Sunday if sufficient volunteer resources exist.

No major changes are planned for DLV 2004. It's still a vacation and
not a convention, based upon reality, not fantasy, and will be held
in a mixture of mainstream and alternative venues.

We'll have a streamlined pre-registration and expedited activity sign-up
for returnees. Also on the plate is an expanded Big Sister program.

There is also a portrait photographer who is interested in attending
and offering free digital portraits of our people. Stay tuned for
details on these and other exciting things to come.

On the activity front:

Although nothing has been scheduled as of this time, DLV 2004 activities
will consist of a good mix of our old favorites and those which are new
and maybe a bit (or a lot) different.

New and different for this year will be such things as dinner at the
Hard Rock Cafe, Bowling, Skydiving (no, I am not kidding), Boat Cruise
on the Colorado River, Secretaries Night, and for those of you who want
to wear something more exotic, there will be an opportunity to do so.

Of course we'll have plenty of strictly social time, including some
traditional DLV gatherings as our Welcome Celebration and Annual Mixer.

Also repeated this coming year will be some of the highly rated
activities from 2003 and years before such as dinner at Carluccio's,
Garden Party (or something similar), Limo Tour, shows, daily brunch,
side trips, and others.

For those who want to get out and be themselves for a few days, here are
a few events at which DLV people will surely see some familiar faces:

The 3rd Annual Traveling TGirl Summertime Road Party will be held from
Friday, July 25 through Sunday, July 27 in Las Vegas. This is a strictly

Pinkfest 2003 takes place in Chicago this coming October 24-26. There is
currently a proposal on the table to extend this to begin on Thursday
the 23rd, but this is not decided at press time. This is much smaller
than DLV. This is another "vacation, not a convention" and was formed
by some of the people who first had the idea for DLV back in the mid

Fall Harvest 2003 takes place in Omaha this coming October 30 thru
November 2. Yes, this is Halloween weekend. :) This will probably be
about the same size, attendance wise, as DLV. Further details will be
