There was no general mailing last week. Between now and April, our
general mailings will come out no more frequently than weekly, but
possibly skipping a week at times.

Registrations continue to come in regularly. Thanks to everybody for
understanding and cooperating with the validation procedure.

As of this time our validated headcount is 89 with no validations
outstanding. We still appear to be on target for 110-130 people total
this year, and again, never the whole group in any one place at any one
time.

Fashion show:

The previously-announced fashion show will happen at the Big Show Pity
Party on Thursday evening. If you are interested in being a model for

Things to come:

On April 1 (and no, we're not gonna give anybody heart failure with any
repeats of the April Fools gag from a few years back) our Big Sister
Coordinators will begin matching Big Sisters and Little Sisters. Those
of you who have requested a Big Sister and those who have volunteered
to be Big Sisters can expect to be contacted shortly after April 1.

Also on April 1 we will begin our activity sign-up process.

Most of our activities are no-sign-up-just-show-up, but several do
require such things as a headcount, reservation, and in some cases an
advance payment or other hoop-jump.

The way this works is that those of you holding validated reservations
will receive a personalized clickable link to your own personal activity
sign-up screen via e-mail. Just click on the link, make your selections,
and you're all set.

If you change your mind, you can add or remove your activity selections
at any time.

For those of you who have not registered, be sure to do so before April
1, so you can get in on the first round of activity sign-ups. In almost
all cases it's first signed first served, and some of the very popular
ones fill up fast.

Just prior to DLV, everybody who holds confirmed registrations will
receive what we call the Large Final Mailing.

This will include, among other things:

. Your personalized final confirmation and itinerary.
. Local contact information and check-in instructions.
. Final detailed schedule of activities.
. Very explicit driving directions to all activities.
. Link to a map of activity locations and photographs.
. Notes on dress suggestions, general and activity-specific.
. Detailed behavior and restroom guidelines.
. List of volunteer drivers and people who need rides.
. Photography guidelines.
. Vendor/merchant discounts and promotions.

This will be sent out the week prior to DLV.

I know quite a few of you are planning your daily wardrobe now, and if
you want to see the working draft of the activity-by-activity dress
suggestions, write in and request it. This will change between now and
DLV, but several have requested this already.

Do not procrastinate! Prices are already creeping upward! Weekday rate
at the Sahara during DLV just increased from $42 to $49.95.

Art Tour:

Each of our general mailings will feature one of our activities in
depth. This week we feature Thursday's art tour.

The Art Tour will be an opportunity to visit a mainstream venue away
from the casino districts. We will meet at the standard rendezvous
location, which will be announced in the large final mailing, and
carpool to the Las Vegas Art Museum, it is well off the Strip. The cost
is $5.00 per person and there is a strong possibility that other groups
will be there as well. In addition to the normal collection, it is
anticipated there will be an Asian Art collection on display as well.

After visiting this museum there is flexibility to either to lunch
with/without Ginger, visit a private gallery or get tickets ($15.00
each) to see the Monet and Manet exhibit at the Bellagio. This is a
world class exhibit that would be worth the time and money to see.
The Gallery is accessed after walking through the Casino.

A signup will be requested, but not required.

Dress will be either Boy Mode or Girl Mode casual (it is Las Vegas) to
business attire (we do have OUR standards) and comfortable walking
shoes.

Shipping clothing:

For those who don't want to face the airport inspectors and security
check people while carrying trunkloads of unmentionables, there are
some options for you, including:

1. One of the local merchants is allowing DLV attendees to ship packages
to their store to be picked up in Las Vegas during DLV. If you are
interested in this, write to dlv@geekbabe.com (or just reply to this
mailing) and we will send you the details.

2. Most hotels will receive packages for guests. Contact your hotel
directly for details. Often times there is a charge for this service.

More misc. Q&A:

>Ignorance question - what is a pity party?

Name came from the original idea of taking pity on those who could not
or did not go to the big show and the limo tour. It's a house party
but will have a bartender and entertainment.

It does. It's supposed to be an alternative to the show and the limo
tour. There are a few other two-tracked timeslots this year too.

Possibly, but unlikely this year. Pilots will be there, but most likely

We are not recommending Treasure Island for our DLV 2004 people, as
there was a restroom incident there last year. Our suggested hotels for
