Getting very close:

Welcome to those who just registered or joined. If you're new,
please catch up on the back mailings at:

As of this time, all DLV correspondence, mailings, and validations
appear to be caught up and processed.

Everyone who sent in their registration or validation prior to
Wednesday morning should have received an appropriate response
from us by now.

Everyone holding a validated registration as of Wednesday morning
should have received their activity sign-up mailing by now.

If you sent in something or did something, and expected a response
or expected something to happen, and it hasn't happened, please
let us know. This is our "crunch time" and it's very possible that
a few things have slipped between the cracks.

The next batch of activity sign-up mailings will go out Friday.

This is "next to last call" for those who have not yet registered
and wish to attend DLV this year.

Your registration must be in and validated by Sunday, April 13 in
order to get in on activity sign-up. The last batch of activity
sign-up mailings will go out on Monday, April 14.

Please take heed of the warnings about activity capacity before
you make any non-refundable arrangements to attend!

Monday, April 14 is also the last day to make additions and
changes to your activity sign-ups.

Registration closes on Tuesday, April 15. Activity sign-up closes
April 15. Tax returns are due April 15. :) Please be reminded that
you must be registered to attend any DLV 2008 activities.

The Border Grill Option for Eating Out Night on Wednesday has
been cancelled. If you're signed up for Border Grill for EON on
Wednesday, please update your activity selections and choose
another option.

Please note the time change for the Upscale Option for Friday
evening dining. All who have signed up for the Upscale option
on Friday will receive a special notice today regarding the
timing and the pricing.

You will be asked to please reconfirm your sign-up for the
Friday evening Upscale Dining Option, noting the changes.

We still have a number of activity sign-ups and a few registration
validations outstanding. Please get these in. Time is running out.

Please understand, that if after three requests to sign up for
activities, if we don't hear something, anything, from you, all
we can assume is that you're no longer interested in attending
DLV.

Issues and concerns:

We understand that some of you are nervous and apprehensive about
attending. This is nothing new. It's been reported each and every
year since 1997. In fact, the expression "Scared sh*tless" has
been frequently used to describe the feeling!

All of us have been there, and we know what it's like. Please be
assured that we will do what we can to make things more comfortable
for you.

It doesn't matter if your concern is more about going out in
public, or meeting a group of total strangers. If you are feeling
uneasy, let us know, and we will help you out.

Diva Las Vegas is a very special event, but it only happens once
a year. We don't want to see you miss it!

Yes, we're aware that on occasion throughout our history, we've
had people take all but that very last step to join us. They've
registered, signed up for activities, perhaps made prepayment
for something, traveled to Las Vegas, checked in to their hotel,
even got ready to go out, but at the last minute had some very
severe difficulty taking that last step.

If this should happen to you, please, do not hesitate to phone
our Big Sister Emergency Hotline! This number will be sent out
in the Large Final Mailing. It's there to help you out in
situations just like this, and it's there to be USED!

"So use it, Rosie, that's what it's there for!"

The Big Sister Emergency Hotline will be answered in person by
Nora, who is our Big Sister Coordinator. Nora has years of
experience as a mentor and Big Sister, both with DLV and with
other TG groups. Nora and our other Big Sisters are here for
you!

If you need help walking that last mile, or taking those last
few steps, just say the word, and we'll get a Big Sister to
take that very important walk with you!

Activity capacity and such:

As of this Wednesday morning, the following activities are full
and in a waiting-list state:

Night Of The Soiled Doves, Tuesday
Prime Rib Loft option, Eating Out Night, Wednesday
Trevi option, Eating Out Night, Wednesday
Limo Tour, Thursday evening
Upscale Dining option, Friday evening -- SEE SPECIAL NOTES
Alternative Dining Option, Friday evening

Due to cancellations, a number of people who saw the "FULL" sign
on Night Of The Soiled Doves, Limo Tour, and others have now moved
up to the confirmed list. Please note your final status in the
Large Final Mailing next week.

If you want to attend Night Of The Soiled Doves and are not on
the confirmed list, please see the "Waiting list instructions"
on the final schedule.

For the Limo Tour, your best chance, if you want to go, is to
select your preferred option (A or E) and your second choice
as the opposite option.

For all other full activities, check with the individual
activity coordinators at DLV for availability.

The following activities are approaching capacity:

Rock Star Karaoke, Monday

For Rock Star Karaoke, please check with the coordinator as the
group departs from the Welcome Celebration on Monday, regarding
crowd and capacity.

There are no capacity issues (yet) on any of the daytime activities,
most of the smaller evening activities, and the two maximum-attendance
gatherings. Although we don't anticipate any issues, should we run
into any physical venue capacity issues, priority will be given to
those whose registrations are dated prior to April 1.
