Let's see ... how do I put this without sounding like I'm
poo-pooing your initiative, which I am not trying to do ...
I have very mixed feelings about any DLV activity which excludes,
meaning not open to all registered DLV participants. I personally
would be far more comfortable with something primarily of
interest to couples, but open to all.
I'm not going to try to stand in the way of anything you want to
plan, however.
Yes, we've had SO get-together functions on occasion, and although
these technically do exclude, they generally are not of interest
to those who are not a SO. We've always emphasized that those such
as male SOs (we've had several over the years) and nontraditional
SOs are welcome at these as well.
Now, let's take this discussion up a level. Do you (or anyone)
think that DLV, as it's been done over the past 12 years, does
not adequately meet the needs of couples who attend?

The planning and scheduling needs to be moved over to ORG,
please. :)
