Bad news re: Sasha's

Just got this in the mail.....don't think we can count on them to be
open next month.......:(

+Dear Friends and Customers:

+I need your help. This has been a tough year for Sashas. Even though we
+just celebrated our first birthday -- we are experiencing (like many
+other businesses) tough times in an uncertain age and may have to
+close. As in shut our doors for good.

+There's always so much gossip that goes around -- that I thought I'd
+save everyone the trouble and just tell the truth -- we need your help.
+We have only a few days to work out our challenges or it will be over
+for us and our dream.

+In 2002, we helped raise over $20,000 for the GLBT community.

+In 2002, we helped feed Thanksgiving Dinner to over 270 homeless folk.
+We volunteered -- significantly -- for Las Vegas Gay Pride, Bighorn
+Rodeo, Diversity Days (for Bechtel), Aidswalk, the Black and White
+Ball, Equal Rights Nevada, UNLV's National Coming Out Week, National
+Coming Out Day, and many, many other events. If you can stop by and
+have a drink or order a meal or an appetizer -- whatever. Please do so.

+Please make a difference and let us know you care as we have tried to
+care for you and the community in general.

+We will be open tomorrow - Wednesday at 6 pm and that may be our last
+day.

+Depending on your response, we will open Thursday. And, with a little
+luck, the day after that and over the weekend.

+If you cannot come. God bless you for your support and remember that
+despite our shortcomings and failures we've always tried to do our
+best, make a difference and do the right thing.

Just to keep everybody informed and in the loop on this. We're currently
waiting for the word on whether they will indeed be closing, or if they
will be in business during April.

We're going ahead with contingency planning. There are now three
possibilities on the table, all of them fun, and one of them will be
put in place if it looks like Sasha's will not be open next month.
