DLV Golf Tournament

I just checked with the golf course and they show 20 players paid and
confirmend. This pretty much matches my list, they did not give me a
name list and I will get that this friday.

Karen is the only one with a requisted matchup I did not get an e-mail
confermation from but am assuming she is paid. If this is wrong please
let me know. Being a bit more on the ball this year then in the past I
have the pairings. I think I made up the groups where there were
requests. If you have a problem or request with the groupings please
get an e-mail to me by thursday as I will be submitting a list to the
course on friday.

The groups are in order and the cart pairings are 1st 2 and 2nd 2 in a
cart. The 1st name in each group is the group leader who will enforce
our special rules of play. If you have not read our rules they are
available on the DLV site.

There are a number of people who signed up during the DLV signup who did
not call and pay the course in advance. If you still want to play you
can try calling the course to see if you can be added on to the back of
the group but it will be subject to other bookings. If you do make a
late registration at the golf course please mail me so I can get you on
the cart list. If all goes according to plan your cart will have your
name on it when you arrive at the course. Please check in with the pro
shop to get your range card which is included in the fees.

They request that the 1st group be at the starter station at 9 am sharp
with all the other groups ready to follow in short order. I advise you
to plan on being at the course between 8 and 8:30 depending on how much
warm up and coffee you need. Please note your place in the order and be
ready to tee off as soon as the group in front of you is clear. Last
year we had a bit of an issue with getting off the 1st tee late.

Please remember to bring a prize for the prize drawing.

The prize does not have to be a golf item but it should be in good taste
and if it is a clothing item it should be one size fits all. We will
have prizes for longest drive, nearest the pin and longest putt as well
as a prize for low score. The low score will be low gross. The weather
can be from the low 60's to the high 80's and sunshine is the norm.

Its a good idea to have some sunscreen (Michelle), and the booze cart
should be out and about. We will have lunch following the round. If
you dont golf but would like to see some of the action you are welcome
to view the tee off at 9 and if you want to see the final hole expect
that to happen around 1 pm. There will be a photo cart on the course
and hopefully we will also have some video this year.
