First Timer DLV - Marriott Hotel Conv. Center

Hi Girls,

I am a 40-something DLV first-timer, driving in from Phoenix on Sunday,
departing Thursday morning. Staying at Marriott Convention Center and
wondering if:

a) anyone else is staying there or nearby? (safety and moral support in
-small- numbers)

b) anyone in that vicinity can use a ride (I'll have my car) or share a ride
to/from some events Mon morning-Weds night?

c) anyone thinks I'd be wiser to just pay for a room at a "closer-on" hotel
and save my Marriott rewards points?

HI Britney:

The Marriott convention center is in a good location. Midway between the
Sahara and the St Tropez ( the two predominant hotels for the DLV ) . If you
prefer staying where others are staying then it may not be the best choice.

When you registered for the DLV did you volunteer to give rides to others.
if so , your offer will be made available to others.

I know that you will have a great time and hope to see you at the events.

I can tell you anything you want to know about DLVs. I think I've
been to 9 of them.
