I've found two new hair salons that are trans-friendly (both
staffed by a group of punk-rock grrls, who in my experience
are always accepting of everyone).

Ones called Curl Up & Dye and is located at 2550 S. Rainbow at
the corner of W. Sahara and Rainbow (702-247-6666). They do hair
styling (I've made my appointment for a hot roller set) and also
offer nails and make-up services.

Even if you don't plan on needing any services, their web site is
absolutely hilarious and worth checking out.

They used to own a second location which they sold to an employee
which also is trans-friendly (I booked a shampoo and curler set
there as well), which operates under the wholly amusing name of
Shag Me Salon. Shag Me is located at 4110 South Maryland Pky @ the
south east corner of Flamingo and Maryland Pky (702) 823-5446

Shag Me doesn't do nails, but does offer hair services.
