DLV 2021 (was Re: Possible date for rescheduling)

Once this years event was postponed due to the pandemic complications, it was unlikely that I could reschedule anyway but also due to the fact that international travel from Australia still hasn't been given the green light for the rest of the year at this stage but that will hopefully change.
If this goes ahead in October, would next years event go on again in late march/early april?

I realise that there are so many unknowns for all parties involved at this time

The event in October 2020 will be the postponed 2020 event. It will not affect the usual spring 2021 event.

We usually don't do much actual planning for the annual event until late autumn of the year before, with the bulk of the actual work occurring early in the new year. Therefore, this should not overload our volunteer force.

We'll most likely announce the tentative dates for DLV 2021 in the early autumn of 2020 and the Call For Comments period will most likely be going on when the postponed DLV 2020 event takes place in October.
