The sooner we can confirm a date the easier it is to schedule our time
off. I dont know how many Org members have voted, but I was on vacation
and managed to vote.

31 votes were received, out of 51 individuals on the ORG list at that
time.

The "Aye" votes represented not only the majority of the votes cast, but
the majority of those eligible to vote.

It's humid here in Tucson, with almost none of the rain that we expect
during the monsoon. Spring is definitely the right time to plan
something in this part of the world. Now which dates, exactly, in
Spring, is something I'll let you guys fight over. I don't have
anything planned. ;)

Hi Densie,

Is this the same person who works (or worked in Casa Grande). If it
isn't, then I have the wrong person. But that's okay, because it's
another DLV sister. I didn't know you lived in Tucson. I do too. How
many of us are there here in the Old Pueblo? I agree with you about the
lack of rain. I wish we had more, although the showers & thunder we
were treated to last night over the western part of the county (Camino
Verde area off Hwy 86) was spectacular. The humidity here has been
bearable though, don't you agree? We were in San Antonio about three
weeks ago. Talk about humidity. Ugh! It was so oppressive and draining.

You just felt like suffocated and exhausted. Now that's humidity! Hope
we cross paths some time in the future.

No, that was Lynn. Maybe? ;)

There are a bunch of us, I think, but I don't know. DLV is actually the
only Community activity I do anymore. These days, I'm spending most of
my spare time trying to pull an adult soap box racing circuit together.
I was injured in a crash last month in Portland and I'm just now getting
back on my feet.

I get this feeling that summer is over already, and we sort of missed
it. We haven't even taken the boat out this year, and the kids are
already back in school. It's kind of depressing. Maybe I should turn
off the A/C to remind myself that it's still August!
