Budget

Let me explain the three thou. When I go on a trip I budget, to be able
to have a good time without worrying about pinching pennies. Nothing
worse than having to worry about money on vacation or about credit card
bills when you get home.

For a week long trip like Diva, I budget $500 for flight, $1000 for
hotel, $500 for rent-a car, and I budget $100 a day for food and
sundries. Some of those go over, some go under, but they average out and
for a trip like Diva that comes to $2600 to $2800. $3000 is a nice round
number and gives a little leeway for shopping and the slots and stuff to
do. Use the credit card only for emergency when on vacation.
