Late late night activities

Postby Karen » Sat Mar 07, 2015 2:22 am

Hi there, this will be my first time at DLV.
I'm very excited to be meeting you all.

I'm wondering what some of you will be doing for midnight and on activities?
Are there any clubs that others have gone to in the past that are trans-friendly?
24hr gay clubs or any mainstream clubs?

I'd like to try some spots out if anyone would like to join on sunday or monday night.

Hi everyone. I have been to three Diva weeks since starting to dress
four years ago.

If there are any girls coming to Vegas alone and want to hang out and go
to events together please let me know. I would like to hang out with
some people instead of doing most everything alone.

I want to go out each night and have fun being who I want to be.

Let me know

Late late night activities

The daughter of a GG cousin started working at the Tao Nightclub at the
Venetian on the Strip recently. She moved to Las Vegas from San Diego.
Maybe some night during Diva Week we can get a group to go over and hang
out at the bar. Hopefully it will be a night she is working and can
serve us. It might be fun. She's never met Vera and probably has met me
once in my male persona when she was very young.

Vera

I am setting up a couple clubbing nights during DLV week. The pole dance studio can give us VIP club access to a whole list of studios (http://www.polefitnessstudio.com/clubs-pools/) so go sign up for the pole dance lessons if you haven't already (viewtopic.php?f=2&t=3113). I'm also contacting other promoters to let us skip the club fees throughout the week.

The current plan is to head out on Sunday night to the XS NIght Club at the Wynn/Encore hotel when Kaskade is on deck. I will be hanging out earlier at the Pheonix lounge for karaoke, before heading to XS around 11pm. Let me know if you want to come so I know how many people to put on the guest list. I would suggest either meeting me at the Pheonix, or send me a email or call (my number is on the coordinator list).

Secondly, we are taking over the entire Kings of Hustler club on Wednesday night, where you can wear whatever you want and dance the night away (viewtopic.php?f=2&t=3114). Obviously this is going to be super-trans friendly as we set the rules (XS and Light will be more mainstream).

I also want to try out the Light Nightclub at Mandalay Bay. This is one of the newer clubs with a Cirque du Soleil theme (yeah I love the circus). Bauer is performing on Friday, which could make a good closing bash. More details to follow.

Hi, I too would love to go out with some girls late at night. If there
was a way to contact those interested that would be wonderful.

What's sometimes called the Fruit Loop is better known as the Triangle District which until recently had a collection of several alternative bars and clubs.

The hotspot of the area used to be Gipsy, but is now closed, following a not so successful episode with the Bar Rescue reality show.

Probably the most popular place there now is Freezone, which over the years has had an up and down reputation with DLVers, mostly good in the last few years. I'm sure we'll have people going there over the course of the event.

My favorite of the area was The Buffalo, but that's now closed as well.

There may be some newer places in the area now but I don't know them. The place just south of what was Gipsy has had a number of short-lived clubs in it, ditto with the corner bay of the building at the corner of Paradise and Naples which had Sasha's/Blyss/Suede and a few others in it.

There's also the Double Down, which is a very earthy "straight" kind of punker place.

Hi everyone. Just read all these post and it seems like there is some strong interest in keeping it going late into the evening or should I say early mornings. I have been known to spend some time on the dance floor. Valerie has some great ideas and is always a blast to hang with. Perhaps we can talk more at the welcome party but if not my cell phone number is 4356020057. Send me a text if you are looking for something to do and perhaps some can join us or we can join you.
