The "D" Las Vegas

Postby Ami » Wed Jan 07, 2015 6:10 pm

I am an employee of one of the restaurants at the "D" hotel & casino downtown, formerly Fitzgeralds. I do not work for the "D" itself. I just submitted a form to list this as one of the hotels. I believe it to be the BEST and cheapest place to stay and play if you're going to be downtown. I just looked and without any discounts, the rate is $185 for the entire week....not one day, the week. If the admins would like, I could talk to the marketing manager and see what we can do to get it even better. Text me at 702-530-2305 or reply on here!

Ami,

I did check, the best I was seeing was about $100 more than you were
able to get it for - you did well !

Hi Ami.
I stayed at the D when it was Fitzgeralds and even though it was a bit older and not top end the people were nice and I enjoyed my stay there.
Could you find out for me if they have Resort fees attached? Also if you would not mind could you inquire if any other Downtown Hotels do Not have resort fees? Their web sites never tell you this info.
I will be staying at The Flamingo for D L V but I would like to stay downtown again when I visit Vegas in September so I am curious as to which ones remain true to their customers and which ones Stick it to them and just go with the flow and follow the rest of the casinos like sheep by adding on a silent fee which should not even be there!

I realize that you do not work for them directly but it would not be difficult to find this out.

Personally I would rather see the **Real price** up front without having to phone and ask if there are any extra fees. Then I know instantly what it will cost me to stay there instead of being surprised after the fact . Not one single hotel is being honest with their customers and actually says on the web sites up front if there is *The infamous Resort Fee* stuck on your bill. Some even have the gall to say.. "May be extra fees".

I think I will write a stiff letter to to the Las Vegas tourist board on a piece of cardboard! **Wink**

Thanks Ami.
Huggers. Katie.
