Las Vegas TransPride Week
If you are in Las Vegas Nevada between November 19th and November 23rd, you are invited to participate in the Las Vegas TransPride Week.
The event will begin on Wednesday November 19th with a march from City Hall to the Center at 3pm. Then there will be an opening ceremony that will have some traditional Native American rituals involved.
On Thursday November 20th starting at 10:30am and continuing to 10:00pm will be the Transgender Day of Awareness with movies being shown in one room of the Center and the Transgender Day of Remembrance wall with the names of all who have passed due to hate in another room.
On Friday November 21st will be the Transgender Day of Remembrance Vigil at 7:00pm. Keynote speaker for this event will be Jamison Green.
On Saturday November 22nd will be the Transgender Day of Empowerment from 11:00am to 4:00pm. Vendors, workshops and Keynote speaker Jamison Green. Free refreshments will be served.
On Saturday November 22nd from 6:00pm to 8:00pm will be Trans America Got Talent, an evening of entertainment by local entertainers.
On Sunday November 23rd will be the Transgender Day of Celebration with a Trans worship service from 11:00am to 12:30pm and then a social gathering with refreshments from 12:30pm to 3:30pm. This will be followed by a Free Thinkers, non-spiritual, good without God from 1:30pm to 3:30pm. A secular alternative to worship gathering. From 3:30pm to 4:30pm will be the closing ceremony again with a traditional Native American ritual.
All events will happen at the Center, 401 S. Maryland Parkway, Las Vegas Nevada.
