What to wear Thursday and Friday

Someone asked for advise on which event on Thursday or Friday would be the more "dressy?" She wrote she had a fabulous black dress she'd like to wear, but was not sure which evening would be more appropriate. She asked, are they both "dressy" type of evenings? Who has advice for her on what to wear Thursday and Friday evening?

Ok I will dive in here. please pass this on to whoever asked about it.

I have not been to the hustler club but imagine that anything goes which
would suggest that you *Save your best dress for Friday night*.

The Friday night closer is the best night of the week and when you walk
through the Caesars forum shops esplanade wearing it you will love me
for this advice. Spectacular scenes need spectacular clothes and it will
be your last chance to make an entrance in DLV 2014.not to mention the
photo ops with others in similar clothes!

If you are thinking of dining out on Thursday night before the Hustler
club activities begin then I would suggest something in the line of
cocktail wear as it will fit in with both venues.and not look out of
place in either.

Not everyone will be wearing fetish clothes at the Kings of Hustler
evening out. *Me for one* and Maybe you for two! so you won't be
alone. *

Regarding what to wear Thursday night at the King of Hustler event and Friday at Carmine's for closing dinner, I've been giving these some thought and share my decisions here. I bought a new cranberry knee-length dress for Friday dinner. I've dined at Carmine's on the October Halloween trip I made. It's a classy place with wood floors and nice decor. We have a semi-private dining area setup by Cami which is very nice. If you decide to walk though the Caesar's shops, it's a main stream stroll after you give your car to the parking valet.

For Thursday night, I've not been to the King of Hustler but it has 70,000 sq.ft. with several rooms, stages and a 3 story high pole for dancers to play on. Parking is close to the side door where DLV'rs have arranged to enter. I'm guessing some DLV'rs will wear some fetish outfits and I'm OK with that. For my conservative style, I picked a Lady of the 80's Disco outfit. It's tame but fun.

My experience with DLV is you should aim to bring two outfits for every day. One should be a practical day outfit - think jeans and blouse suitable for shopping, exploring the strip. Then you should have a second outfit for the night life. In a way, every night is a dressy evening. Vegas is all about the night-life where where all the girls bring out their sexy dresses at night. So bring plenty of classy, cute dresses or LBDs for the evenings.

For the Fantasy Ball you can wear whatever you want as this is a private event. This could be a really nice dress but it could also be something you probably wouldn't wear walking down the street. Perhaps it is that prom dress you always wanted to wear, a fancy ball gown or hoop skirt, that fetish dress, a masquerade outfit, or be a Vegas show girl, wear that amazing corset, feathers, sequins, etc. Or just come and have fun, enjoy the music and seeing other people's outfits. If you really have a favorite dress, then by all means wear it to the closing bash. After all this will be our final harrah at the end of a fabulous week.
