This is the fourth of four reports. This contains the textual comments
received on the DLV 2013 Non-attendee Survey. Very little editing has
been done.

One received comment, which did not refer to the Diva Las Vegas event
or any of its volunteers or attendees in any way, was deemed to be
inappropriate and was not used. The Administrative Committee is aware of
and approves of the omission. Anybody with a demonstrated "need to know"
this comment, please write in.

General comments:

DLV is extremely well done and I have appreciated the efforts and have
enjoyed the activities. I broke my Achilles Tendon and have been on
Crutches for the last two months. However, my wife no longer supports me
in this activity and I cannot go on without her support. Good luck in
the future.

(how can one get to LV by rail, since it is not an AMTRAK stop? really
too bad; the station was a true landmark -- first w/AC.)

i suffered a minor stroke, which resulted in a medical condition which
resulted in suspension of my driving privilege. getting to DLV became an
insuperable problem. really disappointing, since the week designated
included a home stand for the LV 51s at Cashman Field. i have watched
baseball there en femme previously. (don't go to a day baseball game in
a low-cut blouse.) ---- hugs to all.

years event

Had a conflicting event that I was in charge of this year. I hope to
attend next year's event.

I came "out: at DLV 2004 thanks for dear Nora! I am so sorry I missed
DLV this year, but I have a crisis going. I'll probably move out there!
But I won't miss many more!

It was an Family Event that happened, that prevented me from attemding
DLV. I was notified of the Family event on the same day that the
Activity sign up became available. I would of loved to have keep my
unblemished record of Attending every DLV since it's beginning. I look
forward to the next DLV

drove down from elko my fault lost detail of event was unable to make
contact an entire next day then gave up so drove the 500 mi or so back
== sob sob === stayed at the big casino off I-80 and Sahara as their
annex out back has parking next to rooms very convenient and have McD,
et.al across the street or little way West on north side of Sahara..
very very frustrated could not even find a PC to use to search for you
all... sigh!

i sure miss the group

Airlines priced me out of attending this year. Lowest I could get was
over 400. Driving was more expensive since I need to take off two days
each way.

My SO and I are both very interested in attending DLV in the next year
or two. We are very comfortable in public and I have been at least
somewhat out and about in our community since 1992.
