I'm Nancy still thinking whether to come or not. I'm shocked at the DLV
dress code for casual outings, noting in pictures almost all wearing
pants/jeans - like most CDers I've seen at numerous gatherings I must
wear a skirt or dress!

What must have prompted this dress code is Las Vegas cops are very
anti-CD/TG!

Why can't the DVDers all go out wearing skirts in daytime, all close
together in a group ? Does attracting a little attention really hurt?
There must have been a police raid against DLVers busting them in the
past..the only logical reason I can think of.

Then wear one! Seriously.

Take a closer look at the web site. Many dresses and skirts are worn at DLV.

All of these were taken last year.

There are countless other examples.

Nancy,I've been going to DLV for a long time and personnaly prefer a
skirt to pants 90% of the time. But sometimes the pant option seems to
be the best for the activity.

The idea is to be comfortable, and on many activities, to try and blend
a little. We attempt to support the other DLV attendees by choosing an
outfit that isn't going to be an attraction on it's own.

So a formal gown in the middle of the day would be a poor choice, but
pants seem to be so common in Vegas they are accepted nearly everywhere.

However, business attire and skirts, are always fine in my book all day
long. I'm hostess for the Art Tour and love to have my fellow gallery
walkers showing up in nicer skirted outfits, but you will always find
many of the FAB ladies in the gallery are there in jeans.

There is a lot of flexibility, so please come and bring your skirts.

Sarah

No drama please! Just wear the dang skirt or dress and join the rest of
us that do and love showing off a little leg. Just keep in mind though
that us older ladies don't hike the hemline too high. That is unless you
have fabulous looking gams!
