This week we feature two "mainstream" activities:

Monday, April 15, 2 p.m. Girlfriend Party at Bare Escentuals Boutique
in the Fashion Show Mall with individual make-overs. The makeover
party starts at 2 p.m. and continues until everyone has had their
makeover. Sign-up is required. DLV participants interested in a Bare
Escentuals make-over, but who cannot commit for the Girlfriend Party
or who sign up too late to be included, should call Cindy at
702-369-1556 to arrange an individual appointment during the DLV week.
Please identify yourself as being with DLV if you call Cindy for an
individual appointment. Note: For the location of the store inside the

You may sign up for the Girlfriend Party Makeovers at activity sign-up
time which will begin the third week in March.

2. Shopping and Lunch with Ginger

Wednesday, April 17, 10:00am.

Shopping and Lunch with Ginger at the Las Vegas Premium Outlets North,
875 South Grand Central Parkway, Las Vegas, NV 89106.

Shopping from 10am-until you drop. The mall has over 150 shops, many
of which are upscale. Ginger will meet DLV shoppers at the Starbucks
located near the center of the mall with VIP Shoppers Passes offering
discounts as long as they last between 10 and 11 a.m. Additional
passes may be available at Lunch with Ginger. Be sure and visit the
Bare Escentuals Outlet in Suite 2105 for tips and bargains, especially
on colors and color kits. (No limits or reservations needed)

Getting to the Premium Outlets North

By Car

Las Vegas Premium Outlets North is conveniently located just minutes
from the Las Vegas Strip, directly off I-15 at Charleston Blvd or 2
miles north of the Stratosphere.
South on I-15 - Exit Charleston Blvd. on to Martin Luther King Blvd.
Left on Charleston Blvd. Left on Grand Central Parkway.
North on I-15 - Exit 41B, Charleston Blvd. West, then Grand Central
North on Las Vegas Blvd. - Left on Charleston, Right on Grand Central Pkwy

By Bus

The Outlets do not operate any shopper shuttles, but there are several
convenient transportation alternatives available.

Regional Transportation Commission of Southern Nevada (RTC) (702) 228-7433
Drops-off and picks-up at the North end of the center near Ann Taylor
and Disney.

Strip & Downtown Express
From the Strip, pick-up from the following Northbound stops:
South Strip Transfer Terminal, Mandalay Bay, MGM Grand, Paris,
Wynn/Encore, Convention Center, Sahara (Monorail Station),
Stratosphere, Arts District, Bonneville Transit Center and Fremont
Street (on Casino Center).
Runs 9 a.m. to 12:30 a.m. everyday. Buses depart approximately every
15 minutes. Tickets - $5 for 2-hour All Access Pass or $7 for a
24-hour All Access Pass. Purchase tickets from Ticket Vending Machines
(TVMs) at all locations listed.

Centennial Express
Near TI, Venetian or Wynn / Encore, pick-up the Centennial Express on
westbound Spring Mtn. at Las Vegas Blvd. directly to Las Vegas Premium
Outlets. The schedule accommodates center hours and pick-up frequency
varies by time of day; see route schedule.
Tickets - $2 for a single ride, $3 for 2-hour All Access Pass or $5
for a 24-hour All Access Pass. Purchase tickets from Ticket Vending
Machines (TVM) at all locations listed.

Westcliff Airport Express
Near Tropicana, Excalibur, New York New York, or MGM Grand, pick-up
the Westcliff Airport Express on westbound Tropicana at Las Vegas Blvd
directly to Las Vegas Premium Outlets. The schedule accommodates
center hours and pick-up frequency varies by time of day; see route
schedule. Tickets - $2 for a single ride, $3 for 2-hour All Access
Pass or $5 for a 24-hour All Access Pass. Purchase tickets on-board
the bus upon arrival.

As a resident of LV and a daily rider of the RTC I have to question the fare prices...I know you can NOT get those prices on the strip - those are residential passes, only available at the terminals or on the 'local' busses. The RTC is a very safe and cheap mode of transportation, but I feel this posting should be corrected. My $.02
