Hey Girls,

I'll take a "Red Robin" burger over a fast food burger any day... not to
mention the "unlimited" "steak fries" that come with them or any order.

we love them. Can't have a steady diet of them for our girlish figures
would suffer, but occasionally.

Even though I wasn't asked, just offering my 2 cents on this. Five Guys
Hamburgers are a much better. I think In-n-Out has become old and stale.
I mean they're okay and the novelty is still there for many people, but
Five Guys are the new kid on the block.

Susan,

Yes I have, they are pretty good but for around the same price I'll take
Red Robin. They use a premium meat so you can have it cooked to your
liking, I go with Medium Rare. You have a selection of 4 or 5 different
cheeses. Since the "Steak Fries" have "Unlimited" refils I order them
when I arrive and snack on them while waiting for the main course, beef,
chicken or whatever.

I took a couple of my Gurl friends there the other day, after an
afternoon out to the movies. They had never been there before and they
said it was now their favorite burger place, and can't wait to go back
to try some of the other dishes.

Are you in CA? I think they are in other states also but I am not sure,
I'll have to check their web site. "Everybody", try them and let me know

Hey Rosada,

With the name "5 Guys" I am kind of worried if they are using real Mayo
or a substitute? (haha) I haven't seen them yet here in CA, are you in
CA? I'll have to look them up and try them.

They're out of Washington DC. They've conquered the East Coast and
slowly making their way West. They've got several franchises opened here
in Tucson. Giving In 'n Out some "STIFF" competition. Might be due to
the "secret sauce" they use in the delicious hamburgers. LOL!! Just
kidding. Couldn't let that one slip by!

They're here in Tucson. So if you ever decide to visit Dennis and me
here in Tucson, you can get your Red Robin fix and also try out Five
Guys!

HI Katherine,

That is good advice and I will have to try them. I may have tried them
many many years ago, but can't remember that far back. I like the
endless Fry's (I'm a fry Junkie, even still them off my grandchildren
plates, no don't get up set they usually have plenty), that sounds
wonderful.

AS I said I will have to try it an let you know what I think.

AS far as Location goes, Well I / we are here in Hell. It's been over
100 degrees for a long time and the future does not look much brighter,
so we are leaving for California in a couple of week and hope to be gone
at least a month. We have a lot of really good friends in CA. Then a
couple of weeks in Flagstaff to stay cool.

The closest one I found to my location is in Cerritos on South Street
just East of the 605 freeway.

I'll check them out next time I'm in that area.

Hi Susan,

If you are going to be near Long Beach, when you come to Cal, try to
make it to Hamburger Mary's on a Tuesday or on the first Saturday of the
month for TGirl nights (go to : tgirlnights.com). Jamie, the promoter,
really has it all together, and her website, tgirlnights.com, has a
Gallery of thousands of photo's filed by the date. Tuesdays has Karaoke
from 9:30 to 11:30, then a DJ til closing, around 1:30. Saturdays is all
dancing and partying with TG go-go dancers. Give a holler when you are
coming and I will try to make it that night. I will probably be there
thru May, June and the first 2 weeks of July, sfter then I might have to
return to work from my disability and will only be able to make
Saturdays.

Keep me informed.
