Our second visit to the Erotic Heritage Museum will be on Wednesday evening. We were there last year and by all accounts everyone had a wonderful time, including the museum staff who invited us to return this year. They went out of their way and treated us to tours and a chance to have the place all to ourselves, making this a safe venue. This is a very nicely done, professionally managed and operated museum with art and artifacts from pre-history to the present. You will see carved stone fertility figures, Japanese erotic prints, Larry Flint's gold-plated wheel chair, books, magazines, cartoons and a special exhibit on crossdressing built this year just for us. As well as the tour, a cash bar, a chance to wear your favorite erotic outfit, there will be a room full of friends, as this has a chance to be a well attended activity once again.
The museum is located off strip on Industrial Ave, so walking or public transportation are not reasonable alternatives. Parking can be a bit of a problem, so cabs or car pooling are good ideas. Dress is whatever you want and there is a place to change on site if your outfit is just a little too much for the rest of Las Vegas. The entrance is on the north side, facing the Deja Vu Showgirls club. Admission to the museum will be $10 and limited to those 18 and older and ID will be checked if you want to purchase adult beverages. Put a little extra cash in your purse and bring it along to spend in the gift shop on that special item for your boss or mother-in-law, buy a drink, purchase a raffle ticket or just donate to this fun and educational museum.
