It's also two days after DLV ends.

I proposed this a few years ago but it didn't seem to get that much interest. I would be up for this. It may actually work as part of an "Art" Tour. :)

I ride by the Neon Boneyard most days (bus) and it is nearing
completion; it should be well up and running by April and drawing
crowds. It's going to take them awhile longer to get all the signs
restored, theres hundreds of them, but its already nostalgic and
memorable if you're a Vegas fan - a sure hit, just a stroll from
downtown.

Sarah--

Are you are willing to lead a an art tour this year and would the Neon
Museum Boneyard as one of your considerations?

Neon Museum Boneyard Art Tour Option

I've been in touch with the Boneyard and they are taking reservations up
to 2 months before the tours. If we can get some committments early in
February I'd be happy to make the arrangements for this leg of an Art
Tour. I will get additional information and provide it shortly so
DLVers will have the chance to see if it is their cup of tea.

Neon Bone Yard is becoming a popular 'trash the dress' photo set.

Thanks Michelle, I wasn't aware of that. For those who aren't familiar
with the concept of "Trash the Dress", it's usually doing wedding dress
photography in a non-traditional location, sometimes getting the dress
wet, dirty or even destroyed in the process. There are some interesting
photo links around the web that show some great examples of this.

Cameras are welcome at the Boneyard, but additional permission is needed
for a special shoot. If anyone is interested in giving this a try we can
see how it could work out. At this time I'm just looking at getting the
guided tour so we'd be moving along with normal photo opportunities. It
may be possible to get a little extra time to set something special up.
After all, we deserve a little bit of special treatment, don't we?
