You're very welcome, Gina! :)

One thing though, the real credit for making DLV what it is
needs to go to two groups of people.

1. The volunteers. I'm (re)posting the list below, and it is
very impressive this year. Something like 35 individuals whose
efforts all came together to put on an absolutely dynamite
slate of activities this year!

2. The attendees, without whom DLV would have no meaning at
all! We won't have a final headcount for a while, but we may
have had another record turnout.

Here's the cast of characters who are responsible for the

How many?

How many people showed up this year? I can't believe how many activities
there were. We wanted to go, but we were dispatched in the other
direction. Too bad DLV isn't this week...we have a day or two to kill,
and 42,500# of beer in the truck. :)

How did Shooting with Gina work out? I would think that it would be
difficult for people who can't take their weapons on the plane to Vegas,
but it sounds like fun.

> How many people showed up this year?

We won't be announcing a grand total until we very assertively
account for the stragglers (those on the roster for which we
have no check-in record). This is in progress now.

It was definitely higher than last year (149) but we won't
know if it broke the all-time record (175 in 2008) until we
mark all of the stragglers one way or another.

>I can't believe how many activities there were.

Well, you can believe it! :)

Highest number of activities of all time, and the greatest
number of active volunteers of all time.

Our Welcome Celebration broke the record for the largest
group at any single gathering (108) and our Farewell Dinner
was very well attended at 98.

Keep us in mind for next year. :)

Hi Densie,

Shooting was good, I drove out and brought several pieces of hardware,
several girls rented guns and several brought their own. It was fun.

Hope to see you again.
