Thrift Shop tour

I forget who is co-ordinating the thrift shop tour, but is it possible
for her to post a list of shops in the order that they will be visited?
That way those of us who tend to run late in the morning can catch up
with the group along the way. I don't think we'd need the time of
arrival at each shop, just the order they'll be visited in. If the order
isn't planned out before hand, it'd be good to have a definite first
stop in the morning, since it'll be easier to just meet the group at the
first store than to have to deal with the Strip traffic trying to get
into and out of the IP Parking Garage.

Thanks,

Mary Beth

Thrift Shop Tour Update

Hi, Mary Beth,

This is Cynthia Phillips, I have volunteered to host the Thrift Shop
Tour on Wednesday the 21st at 10:00 am, convening at The Imperial Palace
rear entrance foyer, across the walkway leading from Harrah's, directly
overlooking the Bus Departure Depot (or in Betty's Coffee Shop, if you
prefer; I'll be wandering around and will look for you there too).

It will be necessary for me to be there for the benefit of first-timers
and newbees who may be unfamiliar with Vegas and may need a guide.

Now, since the tour is a no-sign-up, just show up event, those of you
who would like to take off on your own are most welcome to do so. I
will post the major stops for you in just a little momenty.

If you would like an advance copy of the Itinerary of our planned tour
when you arrive, or anytime throughout the entire week if you wish, you
may pick one up at either of two convienent locations: If you are
staying in or near the Sahara Hotel, just stop by the Las Vegas Visitors
Bureau desk, located just to the left of the swimming pool entrance, and
ask for Martha or Maria, and they will gladly give you a copy. If you
are staying in or near the Imperial Palace, just stop by the Group Tours
Office, located in the alcove just off to the right of the Monorail Stop
(between the entrance foyer and the walkway) and ask for Robert, and he
will gladly give you a copy.

There will be a map on the back showing you the route and location of
the shops. It is a very simple little affair, but one gauranteed to
keep you busy for most of the morning, and well into the afternoor, if
you let it. :) And now for our major stops, in order:

"The Attic" 1018 So. Main St. just off Charleston Blvd.

"Savers" 1100 East Charleston Blvd. at Maryland Parkway

"Charleston Outlet" 1548 East Charleston Blvd.

"A Second Chance Botique" 2797 South Maryland Parkway, just south
of Karen Ave.

That's all there is to it, come go shopping with us!

See you soon,

Cynthia
