Annie,

Good morning. I attempted to send you an email last night but I beleieve
it never got through. Anyway, maybe the 2nd try is our charm.

With the upcoming event signups a few weeks away, this newbie wants to
assure I get it right for my daughter and I.

Will there be:

a) Hints to the dress attire for each event listed. I mean, I do not
want to arrive either under or overdressed for any gathering. Golf,
Guns, Roller Derby and Pajama Party are pretty clear but I am unsure of
the proper dress for things like Dinner gatherings, High Tea and
Lunches.

b) Also, will there be a note for "Over 21 only" for each? My daughter
is 20.5 :( and have to sit out on a few I'm sure but would like to have
her by my side at as many as possible.

There have been some recent reports of difficulty on the Yahoo side,
long delays in posting, long delays in gatewaying to and from the
geekbabe side, and "black hole" missing messages.

My suggestion is that to send something to the group in public,

Yes, the detailed schedule will have dress suggestions for each. It
may be anything from one sentence like "casual to moderately dressy"
or a detailed paragraph.

To hit your specific concerns, for most evening dinners, about
anything from non-grungy casual to very dressy will be fine.

For the High Tea, "daytime dressy" is the suggested dress, with
accessories such as hats, gloves, etc. encouraged.

We probably will not have this noted on the schedule, but I'll go over
the tentative schedule here noting any potential trouble spots. If you
have any specific concerns about age for any activity, write in and
ask.

Here are the items that I know will be 21 and over:

+Sunday, April 18:
+ 6:00pm: Happy Hour options (various)
+ 6:00pm: Sin City Happy Hour (Sin City Brewing - Flamingo) - ms

This will be 21 and over only. Other Sunday HH's will
probably be OK as long as no alcohol is ordered.

+ 8:30pm: After-dinner options (n/a)
+ 8:30pm: Alternative common gathering (TBA) - sv

This will be at one of three lounges, currently undecided, but
all restricted to over 21.

+Monday, April 19:

Currently nothing I see on Monday has any restrictions.

+Tuesday, April 20:
+ 8:30pm: Mainstream-Alternative Night (Various)
+ 8:30pm: Alternative Bar Crawl (Goodtimes) - sv
+ 8:30pm: Level 107 Lounge (Stratosphere) - ms

Both of these will be, obviously, over 21.

+Wednesday, April 21:
+ 2:00pm: Boutique at Power Exchange Open House (Boutique at Power Exchange) - sv

The main facility at Power Exchange is 21 and over, but you may
be able to bring a supervised minor to the boutique, I'm not
sure. Phone Stephanie, drop my name, explain the circumstances,
and ask if it's OK if you want to attend.

+ 7:30pm: M Resort Get-together (M Resort) - ms

Casino and bar. 21 and over only.

+Thursday, April 22:
+ 2:00am: Charles Bar (Bellagio) - ms

Casino bar. 21 and over. Bellagio has been known to "card
hard" for those who look underage.

Night of the Soiled Doves is most likely 21 and over but
I'm not certain. Aiko? Kumiko? Do you know for sure?

+ 6:00pm: Local Happy Hour (TBA) - ms

Facility undecided. May be 21 and over.

+ 8:30pm: Pity Party (Escape Lounge) - sv
+ 11:00pm: Late Evening Dancing (Paris) - ms
+ 11:00pm: Jam Session (Escape Lounge) - sv

All of these will be 21 and over.

+Friday, April 23:
+ 11:00pm: Late Evening Dancing (Paris) - ms

Again, casino lounge. 21 and over.
